Mid bass drivers and subwoofers can cause vibration and harmonics that add to distortion. Correct placement of materials eliminates and at the very least reduces these effects significantly. @@loribass4829 I have almost the exact same setup, and I paid $2800 for it. A little more than $1600, but definitely not anywhere near $9500……..unless he got completely ripped off. And mine has every single speaker in the car swapped, plus the additional subs. The only thing that is still stock is the head unit.
Stock alternator with an upgraded battery. Check the battery voltage at 2,000 rpm's. Some of these vehicles are capable of 15+ volts. The aftermarket amplifiers shut down. I have a fix.
My boss has a couple 12's in the 5runk likes alot of bass bumping those corridos stupid bass now he's having battery issues. Did the battery buen out ? Do you think theirs corrosion? I know who we installed the system didn't tune it properly like wiring ohms or frequencies they just bought this bought that positive negative done. What would be your first quess?

I know this is old, but why not use the optical out from the master amp to the sub amp. That way, no need to run those RCA cables.
The optic cable has a 3db loss on the signal.
So if he gets a flat where is the spare tire now

There is no spare on these cars. Mine came with the same air pump you see in the video sitting at the rear of the spare tire well.
