I’ve seen several videos about the line lock, and they never mention that you have to keep holding the brake pedal. I also wanted to know; At what RPM do you drop the clutch? And, do you have to turn off traction control manually or does the line lock turn it off (as would be logical)?
It automatically turns traction off and I only have to hold the brake until line lock is set then you just floor it until the burnout is done or the 15 seconds expires
They’re responding to the market by giving us nifty features, but they still have a legal way out if a customer beats the 💩 out of their car. It may not void the warranty if you use line lock every 3 or 4 months. It may void the warranty if you do burnouts every day. It also seems like, if you have the navigation feature and do a half-dozen burnouts one night, Ford can figure out if you were at a drag strip. That meets the warranty definition of racing, so no more drivetrain warranty for you.
What if I enable comfort steering and Sport+ driving mode? What will happen to steering? What if I enable S on the transmission, or S + Sport+ mode or just Sport+ mode - what differences will I have in throttle responsiveness / shifting in this 3 scenarios? I don't care about steering / traction, just how it will it perform in terms of acceleration? Thanks!
Sport mode and Spord+ provides same shifting performance, only difference between the two modes is the sport plus mode will change your steering wheel to sport mode and your exhaust will be sport mode too. Hope this can help you to understand your car
I am in a 2017 Manual I don't have the up down switches, I have Black push buttons and nothing happens when I push them.. I do have line lock, Launch, and track features but I don't have a sport mode or rain mode, It just seems to only have traction control and sport for steering. Like I don't think I have Normal or sport or sport Plus??. The car it's self doesn't go into a sport mode.. Is it because it's a manual??
I have a 2017 ecoboost with manual transmission. I want to know if the drive modes with a manual transmission does or does not make a difference to the car.
What if the mustang your looking to buy has the performance pack wheels, calipers, spoiler but has no toggle switch for drive modes?? How do you change the modes?
You probably don’t have the premium mustang. I have the performance pack too but it’s not a premium so it doesn’t have the different driving modes. Just supercharge it and you’re always in sport/track mode :)
Foul Ball I don’t have a premium gt but have the modes. You double tap the traction button to turn on sport mode. Trac mode hold brake 5 sec and traction control
Really what a stupid feature they said this beats challenger it doesn't challenger came with way more features before this stupid technology on the mustang
"Spirited driving situation" hahah
For line lock, I have to keep my foot firmly on the brakes to sit and do the burnout

Why would Ford produce a vehicle that is capable of racing and has racing modes but also say that it may void your warranty

I have a 2017 mustang ecoboost but line lock or launch control doesn’t appear in my track apps
any idea?

Its ok im a 10 speed exoboost but with no switch it because its a base model
It’s honestly all the same thing bub, if you have a manual think about it as having 100% power at all times lol
I have a 2017 ecoboost with manual transmission. I want to know if the drive modes with a manual transmission does or does not make a difference to the car.
Does in mine. I've only switched between Normal and the spirited Sport+. I have 2017 GT manual.
Well, you can’t use launch control on an automatic lol
Hey bro what if we want to burnout more than 15 sec, plzz reply
you just have to learn how to do it manually without the mode
If you have to ask... Learn. How. To. Actually. Drive. instead of hold a steering wheel

Really what a stupid feature they said this beats challenger it doesn't challenger came with way more features before this stupid technology on the mustang
