Best install video on UA-cam for vintage air ! Thanks for the help and not filling your video with nonsense. 🙏
If that’s the best, our expectations are way too low.
Great video.. thank you so much for not adding background music. Background music is so annoying when I’m trying to listen to someone talking.
Cool vid, nice work and install! 👌
How many hours of Labor did that run ?
Awesome stinkin video guys. Just awesome. Easy to follow. Is this install similar to a 77 K5 Blazer?
I had to bend the heater core pipes and the ac lines to get it lined up with the 4 block off plate holes and that stupid rear bracket the heater lines pass through has to stay loose because you cant get the wrenches on the fittings. Also if you leave the front mounting bracket off till you get the unit up under the dash its a lot easier, also pull the carpet and padding out if you can cause its a tight fit to get the unit up under there. Also youll have to make a different power steering pump bracket because what they send you is for exhaust manifolds. I ran a small belt around the power steering pump and then the other belt goes around the water pump and the crank pulley. th power steering pump doesnt have much belt adjustment so i rolled on a 33 inch belt and used a 55 inch for the second one that comes from the crank and water pump , works great
How many hours did the install take?
Great video! Clear and concise instructions. I will "look at the pictures longer" ;-)
Instablaster.
What’s the real life instal time on this kit?
This might be a dumb question but is the installation the same if you have the 6.2 Detroit diesel? Do you need any special brackets?
Where can I find the side vent block off plates? My kit didn’t come with those
Nice
Hey my friend I have a question in an LS swap The water pump have 2 Nipples one bigger one is smaller. I nstall my vintage air.. and about to do the houses my question is which nipple off the water pump Should I connect the Heater control valve.. If you can let me know appreciate thank you so much
Not a big fan of Silicone because after 10years or less it is done. I used a Rubber Butyl Rope to seal the cover plates.
How much is for that kit?
It runs $1,500

How much for a job like this ?
Install labor is about $2,750.
@@AZProPerformance does that include the cost of the parts or just labor?
Vintage Air is very low quality & poor design, I have had constant problems with mine, I am about to replace it soon.
