I had about 7 months sober and then went back out at the beginning of the year. It escalated quickly and within weeks I was taking a cocktail of phenibut, kratom and gabapentin. Was going to AA meetings and hid my usage for about a month. Eventually came clean and went to a detox for a week. The month after that I was mentally and spiritually flailing. I was physically ill for about a whole month while dealing with a Chicago winter. It was awful. After I got the first 30 days of new sobriety in it all turned around. The last couple months have been extremely peaceful, even in the face of this crisis. It has been a clear example that while I slipped up, all the knowledge and wisdom I've accumulated in the last year is still with me. A major new lesson was even added. When you're sober for years, months, whatever, it's easy to think you'll just easily peel off large amounts of sober time. Had to learn to get back to one day at a time. Nothing is a guarantee. Glad to see you're moving forward and you're still a shining example. Thanks Tim.

The most important thing is now you're back on track. We all are going to make mistakes and being too hard on ourselves for me too just not help. Most important thing is what are you doing now. Good look

During the soviets our community didn't use such a word as "a problem". When this word came to our lexicon in 1990 all of a sudden the quantity of things to deal with (problems) increased several times. This is when we started having problems. Since 1990 problems were in every aspect of your life. Everything you used to deal with not even thinking about it before now became a problem.

Great videos Tim, the way you've bounced back with honesty and motivation shows how strong you've become , studying jo dispenza has helped me massively.

I'm so sad you had to withdrawal in isolation. I've been thinking of you and sent you a message on Instagram. I'm so, so happy that you are well. The isolation is making it so hard to stay clean, stay strong! Happy to see you well!

Perhaps thinking too much about a certain problem when it's actually been sorted could lead to a relapse.
