@Karn_EX I have an idea for a video if you haven't done so already. Since the 4 Dark Masters are from 4 of the different fields, i.e. deep savers, what would the rest of the dark masters be for the remaining 4 areas that weren't represented before?
I imagine Neptunemon and AncientMermaidmon being a duo like Jupitermon and Junomon, and i think it would be cool to see Jungle Troopers group.

Apollomon is a memeber of the death generals and the Olympus 12. As well as azulongmon being a sovereign and a member of the four great dragons. I don’t see why they can’t be in two groups. Love the picks!

Not to mention that 3 of the 4 members of the Miracle 4 are also in other groups, with Seraphimon being one of the Archangel Digimon, Magnadramon being one of the 4 Great Dragons, and Magnamon being one of the Royal Knights.
I think the decision to add Digimon that originate from other groups is totally valid. Looking at it from the lens of superhero comics, characters hop between different teams or are even in multiple teams all the time. With a lore heavy world I think that this is totally warranted
I agree! When I did the Demon Lords rivals videos people were like "but Venusmon is in the Olympos XII already" so I had to put the cart before the horse on that lol

I'm surprised Bandai hasn't done this already. Karn, please do more for the underutilized Fields. I want there to be a point to them.
First, all these choices are absolutely on point. You are a man of impeccable taste.
I've had an idea for a Digimon "Team"/"Group" bouncing around in my head for a week or so now. Basically a group of Digimon that oppose Yggdrasil's/King Drasil's Will but aren't outright Evil. Victorygreymon and Zeedgarurumon fit the bill best in my head.
I've been working on something similar, basically a group of Megas set up to combat the Royal Knights because Yggy has gone too far (again.) The only Knight I don't need to make a counter for is Alphamon, and this group also might even been set up by him.
So far I have Tactimon and Darkdramon as loose partners as counterparts to Leopardmon and Crusadermon. Tactimon and Leopardmon are brilliant tacticians who are also excellent swordsmen, and Darkdramon and Crusadermon are leaders of their respective armies, the D-Brigade and the Knightmons.
I picked Titamon as a counterpart to Examon, as they would both be the gigantic beaters of both groups. I also have Gaiomon as a counterpart to Craniamon, since the two of them seemed the most likely to want to have a fair, 1v1 duel.
I've thought of using Rapidmon Gold and Omnimon Alter-S as counters for Magnamon and Omnimon, but I'm not exactly sure how good I feel about those, and the rest of the Knights I'm not sure on.
I would argue that Yggdrasil is evil, depending on the canon, so anyone who opposes him/it is not necessarily evil

I love this idea, I want it as a series, would love to see like “the machine lords” or something like it next, because while yes there are plenty of mechanical digimon, I want to see what the MOST machine like digimon would be.

I love this and would love to see more! For metal empire, you could do something like "The ages" with each mon representing a certain age, from stone to modern

It’s cool having leaders or guardians for each of the digimon areas. It fleshes out the world in a neat way. I’d love to see this as a series!
I think going for more non humanoids type digimon makes more sense when dealing with groups that are more linked to aspects of the world/nature itself so beast type digimon would make more sense.
The Royal knights and Olympus 12 are more based on rulership so them being humanoids makes more sense.
Also lets be fair there are plenty of digimon groups that has mostly humanoid members and not that many with more beast type digimon

Really nice concept, really want to see more of that. Props for getting Regalescusmon in there, I really like it. Would have been funny to have Omnimon in there, because he is in so many fields. Also, I don't think being in multiple groups should be an issue, because you have the case of Azulongmon, who is in both the Four Holy Beasts and the Four Great Dragons at the same time.

In the case of Azulongmon his inspiration(Qinglong(the Azure Dragon) in Chinese Mythology) is one of the Four Sacred Beasts(The inspiration for the Sovereigns) and one of the four Dragon Gods/Kings of the four seas(the inspiration for the Great Dragons). So that's just carried over from his Mythological Inspiration.
Really like the picks for this group. Especially the inclusion of Surfimon. The dude needs some representation. I would personally like the inclusion of Vikemon just to show some love to gomamon. Maybe he'd be the land ambasador to the most water based team. But I dont know who I'd replace him with. These pick are really good and would love to see this be made official
I think the Gomamon rep is Argusmon. He does represent the both the Gomamon lines and the Seadramon lines.
I have to come clean, a member of chat at the time said Seven Seas and I just parroted it because I thought it was cool. DEFINITELY Would love to see more of this series though!

I'm super here for this as a new series! And I agree that JumboGamemon and Regalecusmon need more love. I'm honestly surprised Vikemon didn't get in aside from as an understudy, but I do like these picks.

I had the idea that if 1 of the seven seas gets really sick or injured then a backup substitute member of the team takes their role temporarily until the actual member of the team get better or heals from their wounds. Backup members like olegmon, plesiomon, vikemon, deckerdramon, marine chimeramon, tylomon, waruseadramon, that sort of thing.

An awesome idea: giving a group for each major field or faction.
There was a lot of maybe/maybe not to this one, though, maybe one thing that can help solidify choices for the group is tying each member to specific symbols or themes, like how each Olympos 12 is a Greco Roman god, or the Royal Knights matching up to Arthur's Knights of the Round Table. For example, the obvious one for the Virus Busters will probably be the 7 Virtues, and if the team is selected by matching them up to each virtue, it will help cut out some guesswork. In this case, the mons could have been matched to represent aspects of a given sea, like Reglucus being matched to a sea known for pirate activity, etc. Can't wait to see more of these!

This is such a fun idea! Always wanted some Aquatic rulers of the sea! Great picks at that. I would love to see something for Jungle Troopers and Metal Empire, like maybe a court of Flowers with Raflessimon, BloomLordmon, Ceresmon Medium to name a few.
Honestly this is a very fun idea, I really hope we get to see this groups come together. Also I don’t think it matters if a Digimon falls into another group as long as they fit the theme for both groups, heck maybe those Digimon joined this other group as a way to create peace between the two sort created their own group due to the need in other areas needing watch and protection with other powerful Digimon

Considering that Lillithmon is also part of Bagra Generals and Magnamon is part of Miracle Four it is completely valid for one digimon to be in two groups.
Digimon being in multiple groups is fine: Azulongmon is in both the Great Dragons and 4 Sovereigns. Also if you're doing "What if X had their own royal knight / Oympos 12 group", videos and you want to cover what if there were a group of Aztec/Prehispanic themed Digimon like how those are Norse/Medevial and Greco-Roman themed, or like how the Devas are Buddhist/Hindu, then I'd be down to help out! I've offered this before like 20 times, and It'd definitely require custom art, but I regularly do giant multi page posts on Mesoamerican history and archeology and would be interesting in giving references, ideas, chipping in on design details, etc!

I also think it’s fair to include Digimon that are part of other groups already since, as well as the examples you gave, the first that came to my mind was Azulongmon, who’s both one of the Four Sovereigns, and a member of the Four Great Dragons.

I liked this video, even if I didn't quite agree with a few choices. I'd like to see group ideas featuring certain megas that aren't really connected but don't have a team. Like a "knight" group that includes Justimon, Rapidmon gold and Sakuyamon.
This was an especially interesting and enjoyable video of yours, Karn EX! I'm quite fond of the idea of a more aquatic equivalent of the Royal Knights and/or some kind of digimon organization! Especially with the inclusion of Aegisdramon as the Examon equivalent of sorts, as well as Jumbogamemon and Surfimon. As I certainly think that in their own interesting ways, they fit quite nicely as members of some kind of high ranking digimon team. As always, it's great to see you and your team explore what if concepts in digimon like this, and I look forward to seeing what you come up with next, especially if anything along these similar lines! Best of luck on your endeavors, as always!

I can totally see Regalecusmon suggesting it to be both a pun and a reference to the seven demon lords. It's way too perfect.
Considering Azulongmon is part of both the Soverign and the Four Great Dragons, Neptunemon, AncientMermaimon, and Aegisdramon should certainly be allowed in this group.
Also I know she’s not a part of the Deep Savers but I think Amphimon would be a perfect fit for this group.
Regalecusmon is such a fantastic design. And honestly strikes me as the "Batman" of the Justice League, especially in recent (animated) versions, where he barely cares about the team, and is very prickly and rude to the team.
Also, this team build idea is FANTASTIC! CANT WAIT FOR Metal Empire. I expect it to be basically "Royal Knights but modern weapons." Love this idea.

I'd love to do a digimon group based on Norse Mythology, you could call them the Asgard 9(9 is a sacred number in Norse mythology) there are various references to Norse and viking lore in Digimon like Vikemon, Valkyriemon and Nidhoggmon, I'd love to see proper mega level digimon based on the Norse gods

The idea of field themed groups is an amazing idea. I would love to see a group of digimon based on the nature spirits. Like,have it be based around the animal kingdom or something. That would be wonderful.

I love this idea! Definitely something I'd love to see more of! Perhaps a metal empire group would incorporate Metallicdramon as a peace-spreading member or someone who could quickly oversee any area of the domains and warn it's comrades that something bad is going down. Or Volcanicdramon ruling over volcanos and those in it's domain, including it's possible flocks of Lavogaritamon and other digimon. As the pre-evolutions are mostly mentioned to be kind and friendly, but will keep their distance for they know how destructive they can be. Kinda like the bewilderbeast dragon from HTTYD 2 guarding over it's sanctuary.

You know I do find really strange we don’t have an official group for these fields honestly it opens up so much possibilities for great anime and manga stories
Unsure if this has already been done on the channel, but a listings video on all prominent groups, royal knights, sovereigns, demon lards etc. within the digital universe would be a pleasant idea, giving a quick synopsis in their role in the digital world, any key figures in the group or main series appearances. There may be too many to list or would be better suited to a playlist compilation, but even a tier listing of your favorite groups would also be a good video to watch.
Love this idea I think doing this will build even more cohesion to the digimon world.
Love the idea and can't wait to see where you take the others. I'm guessing Banchostingmon and Bloomlordmon would be part of the Jungle Troopers group. I like the idea of the JT being linked to a fey court or even both courts, the Seelie and Unseelie courts,... since jungle troopers even come in cute and noble or wild and almost rotting.
When I heard the name "The Seven Seas", I imagined there being a bunch of Captain Jack Sparrows running around the Digital World and plundering caches of sweet, sweet dubloon data.
Also, for the Metal Empire group name, it can be the "Metal Titanz".
I think it'd be interesting for this group to have some other members because historically the "seven" seas was always changing and for most of our history it wasn't even seven seas. So seeing like "retired" or lower rank members would be really interesting!
I gotta say, the ideas for groups for Wind Guardians, Metal Empire and Nightmare Soldiers are the ones I'm looking for the most.

I think the fact that all the people that got in to digimon during the height of the pandemic with the Card game and anime revival are probably starting to move to different things will probably have a trickle affect on Digimon centric channels. In short you might have to start doing some MHA or Jujutsu kaisen vids 😂😂😅

I actually like the idea of neptunemon not being in the group. A seven seas group that unites due to the ones they perceive should be taking care of them always attending to duties in groups unaffiliated to the seas sounds cool.

From what I remember, the Olympos 12 are in a different server compared to Yggdrail and the Royal Knights. As long as there isn't a Royal Knight used in one of these, I see no issue.
