do a video dropping a 5lb rock on the the hoods, see which fairs the best. also would be nice see which one mows better it would be interesting to see just how good they mow side by side.

WHY WOULD YOU DROP A 5 lb rock on the hood? Why not just drive it into a wall?

@@derekmoen5382 that’s why my neighbors JD goes to the dealer 2-3 times a year for the last 6 years and my Mahindra has never seen the dealer since it left . Lol 😂 keep drinking the green kool-aid

I agree with the cheap plastic might not be as substantial but if they would upgrade that plastic . You could hit it with a sledge and wouldn't break or dent. So many things all manufactures are cheaping on .

Misinformation on the Deere regen I own a 2038r and it regens when working the tractor.

But it looses great deal of power while doing regen so cannot do anything meaningful at that time

love my 1626! John Deere screwed me on a commercial mower in the 90s. i'll NEVER buy green again! hope it was worth it to them.
    PS, stamped decks are junk!

Straight up lied about the DPF on the Deere. Yes you CAN continue to operate the tractor as normal during regen. This is the same stunt and bs that my mahindra dealer tried to feed me, ended up going Deere because of it. And yes I know it’s bs because I work at a dealer that sells Kubota...they feed the same metal vs plastic bs too.

I hope you never sell another tractor to anyone. You bought a deere but work for Kubota? You are all kinds of jacked up.

tollav It’s called active regeneration it’s literally in the manual. manuals.deere.com/omview/OMLVU31185_19/UP00731,00001FC_19_20171221.html Please do your research before you start posting links as the link you used isn’t even for the 2032/2038r. Second of all don’t assume I sell tractors I’m a mechanic for Ag and CCE. It’s a shame that you have to resort to trying to make an insult saying I’m “jacked up” for buying a Deere instead of a respectable response, it just shows your lack of maturity.

They did not talk about detaching or attaching the mowers or loaders, user friendliness of their models, I did months of research when buying my first tractor and found JD has the easiest method of changing attachments. Also Chucke2009 had a Mahindra and had tons of problems with it and they would not fix or warranty it, so buyer beware. I have a 2038 and love it, super easy to run and have had no problems with over 400 hours on it, there is only one down side, because it is designed to be user friendly and no back breaking work to remove attachments ( just watch the videos and you will understand this is a huge advantage for JD ), it does cost a little more but you won't be getting hurt swapping things out. Ps. yes you can use your tractor while DPF is in regen mode, I don't even know it is running except for the icon on the dash being on. These guys need to get their facts straight!!!!

Straight up lied about regen cycle and the fact that the JD 2038R pull bar is a standard feature (and don't think I didn't notice you said nothing about work lights). Going to a Deere dealership. Might want to take this video down before you piss more people off. BTW: if the best thing you can say about your tractor is the body is made of steel; over things such as comfort, reliability, attachment swap, or quality of cut on the mower deck.... might want to revisit the business plan.

100% wrong on the regen with the Deere. While in regen and you CAN still work the tractor. As far as the plastics, please tell me why it's worse than metal? Metal= paint rubbing off, fading, scratching and dents. I own a JD, but do like Mahindra tractors too. Stick to the facts.

Using a tractor as a tractor means you need weight.

The john deere is heavy. Amd the weight of that metal hood and fender are insignificant

All Mahindra tractors are manufactured overseas, either in India or China. The only two people that Mahindra gives a job to is the salesman and the mechanic that keeps fixing them. Buy American and give your kids or grandkids a job. Buy a John Deere that is made in Augusta, Georgia, John Deere employees thousands of Americans.
