do you know if can day teach with my regular class c license?
On Robertsons website it says they help you get your CDL what I’ve been reading is you sign a 2 year contract with them though.
@@seeloaks555 I think it is IF THEY HELP YOU GET A CDL/ CLASS C .My daughter had her class A before. Here training was just a machine training/ operator competence deal, She had here Lic. and all available endorsements before hand. ""Lic. was in hand."" She's sill getting her over time work, and she knows it's construction and slow downs.

So what does the driver exactly do he just loads up and takes to site? Does he get off and lays the cement down or does he stay in the truck and the workers lay down? Also, how much can you start off making a year?

How does the hiring process work?
I have an interview tomorrow in Corona Ca definitely looking to provide for my family. At the moment I have my class A permit so I’m wanting that experience instead of going OTR so I can stick around for my little guy. Single father in the house trying to come up!

I run the ports for now, with a smaller company paying 27 an hour only working 50 hrs a week. Keep looking tho bro, don’t settle for that 65+ hours shit. No company making you work 65 + hrs and 6 days a week give a shit about there drivers.
Do you have to pay for any of the training up front. And do you have to take any test and how long is the training before hired on with the company.

50k a year is not good pay for a year round mixer job. I made 58k last year with 3 months layoff in the Midwest. Warm weather drivers should be clearing 70k easily

Drove mixers in Las Vegas for 5 years. The job is crap. Start times are all over the place- 2100, 2400, 0600, it changes each day so forget about family time. You will be dealing with jerkoff contractors and illegals who no habla. You might work 6 hours or 14 hours. Company preaches safety but they push you to take risks and when it goes wrong the driver is left holding the bag.
Another bitter douche bag who can't decide whether to hate people who help make this country great like the illegals he refers to or the American citizens who own the cement mixer companies that employed him. Whether native English speakers or undocumented workers this guy has something to bitch about. I bet you a dollar if you were his neighbor you could be GI Joe himself and he'd find something disgusting about you he doesn't like. Be careful with these whiners because they make enemies out of everyone.

Otr driver is no bueno for your family, you're never home. this is for you if you wanna drive and stay local, you're home everyday everynight. start you at 25 an hour plus overtime 1.5x and privailing wage(city,state jobs) 45/hour not bad
