My Husband has worked @ Holiday rock for 4yrs, good pay, long hours. Your start time is different everyday, you check your schedule everyday after 5pm or 6pm you can start at 4am 5:15am 6am it’s different everyday just depends on the job.
I started with Holliday Rock back in 1998, at about 10 dollars/hour. If you can handle the erratic schedule it is a great company to work for. They take care of their employees and that is rare today. Good luck to them and thanks for the career.
Good job to get into, your going to have bad days and good days just like any other job. I retired in 2018 with over 40 years driving a mixer and loved the job. I'm going to be 68 this year and I'm still driving mixer in the summer for something to do. I just can't get away from concrete, LOL...Wishing you the best of luck on your new career !!!
Boy, you are a rookie at this career change! You never told your subscribers what time you start in the mornings. Job site hassles, grumpy customers, and traffic.
I wonder if you can give me advise. How do I get my foot in the door ? I don’t k ow ish! About the truck driving concrete busniess. I stay in California do you have any suggestion what companies I should go with?
Hey smoove what drug test does holiday do know a days I’ve been a driver for a long time but thinking about making a move as I’ve gotten older I have to take certain medications just wondering if you know any pre employment testing thank you 🙏🏼
Great video. looks like the pros at holiday rock are great pay and benefits what are some of the cons in your opinion. possibly taking a position with them soon. Thx also seen herc hiring as well
Cons would be during the rainy season. The work load drops considerably. Below 40 hours a week. Hands will get Grimy and dried out easily. Wear a mask. Otherwise you may breathe in the concrete powder, not so great for the health. Besides that. It's good company
@@rtyourrealtor The work schedule is Mon - Friday. Usually varies start times between 2am - 5am. Sometimes they require you to work Saturdays as well. At least 45- 55 hours per week. At least this was the schedule when I worked for them a year ago. I no longer work for this company now.

What's the point of getting the class A if you're gonna be looking at Class B trucks,it seems like a trend in my old Job I was the only class B driver all the other drivers were class A,and the company only had 10 wheelers.
Not anymore, no. But it's a good company man! I recommend it! Especially if you enjoy the concrete work. And don't mind getting your hands dirty. Pays well too
Hi I watched your Video. I'm working with FedEx Ground too. I have been driving them FedEx for 8 Months now. But my plan is I would like to get Local job something like too. So I need your advice How can I apply for the job or can you refer me? I'm live in LA ,California too 🙏🏻🙏🏻 Thank You So Much 😊😊
@@ThainicRefractor I no longer work for holiday Rock. I'm with Herc Rentals hauling heavy construction equipment now. But go on Indeed, and submit the applications near your LA area. It's a good time to apply. Start of the summer, lots of high paying local trucking jobs are hiring right now 👍
