Probably because it would expose him quite a bit. Super easy to get killed instantly while hanging out in the open doing DPS with the linear, whereas the osteo poison is a lot more passive (and by extension, safer)

Can someone clarify the requirements for Platinum for me? In this run I notice a champ spawned while you captured B mine and never killed it but got Plat. Also, I could swear that my team has had two overloads spawning and hanging around that bridge. Am I missing something about how the spawns work or mistaken?
Why major spec on the guns? I always thought best option was boss spec for heavy weapons and minor spec for primary weapons. Ive been seeing more people using major spec and i would love an explanation
Major spec is what works on champions and they're the main hurdle in these. Boss spec will be good if you only want to focus on boss damage though, minor spec is generally not worth it as most minor enemy types won't need the extra boost, outside of a few niche cases

If you're running Hunter you can't count on the ability to out-DPS either Overloads or Barriers, so you need mods that stun those. The artifact mods available mean you have to carry both a [scout or auto or SMG] and a [pulse or bow], and yes Lord Kelvin's Basilisk makes void grenades stun Overloads but you won't always have your grenade when you need it. The fact that Osteo Striga can do Overload stunning in addition to being an add-clear monster is a happy coincidence. Honestly the mandated weapon types is the most common complaint about Champions.

Artifice armor allows an extra slot. Still 10 energy but gives more flexibility how to spend the 10 on a masterworked piece.
