As expected, here is the video for my 1.000.000 views in total !
I want to thank you all to follow me and share my work.
This video is the product of our passion and hard work. We were six persons in total for the realization of this video.
I want to thank them all for their great work and help, without this the video couldn't be done.

For the shooting, we rented an Sony Alpha 7S II, a DJI Ronin, Zeiss lens. My audiovisual school lent us its shooting room and the company where I worked lent me a hazer machine. We shot 16 times the song in different angles, with and without the Ronin to have the greater amount of content.

On a loué que la partie vidéo, le ronin, l'alpha 7SII. Sinon niveau son c'est que mon matou perso, les lumières et la pièce c'est mon ancienne école, et la machine à brouillard, c'est mon taff !

Mais Oui il est vrai que cette config est la meme mais avec le temps, elle vient à changer. J'ai ajouté une splash, un charley et un tom (voire deux vont s'incruster!)
Pour ce qui est du rack, j'utilisais un Pearl avant et il y a vraiment rien à voir. Le Gibraltar te permet de placer au millimètre près tous les éléments, et contrairement à ce que les utilisateurs du Pearl, les éléments sur le Gibraltar ne glissent pas sur les tubes ronds.
Après c'est une question de goûts mais je trouve que le Gibraltar avec ses tubes ronds et chromés est vraiment bien plus sexy. Il est beaucoup plus personnalisable avec le catalogue de clamps en tout genre et surtout quand tu le démontes, tu me remonte au degré près à l'inverse du Pearl qui n'a pas de bague mémoire !
Donc si tu veux passer sur rack je ne peux que te dire vas-y 😉

Il est vrai que j'hésite aussi avec le Pearl mais c'est clair que le Gibraltar est plus beau :D
Notre ami Mario utilise aussi un Gibraltar et je crois que rien n'a jamais glissé du rack :)
Plus beau et bien plus pratique, quand tu défais le Pearl pour le remettre tu n'as pas la mémoire des angles etc...
Rien ne glisse chez personne avec le Gibraltar, ce sont les utilisateurs de Pearl qui crachent 😉

Why "but" ? Yes I use triggers. Just as the greater part of metal drummers :)
The original song doesn't have different strengths on the kickdrums so triggers or not ...😛 Mario uses triggers too :)
Thomas Crémier i wasnt worried about the kicks. more like snare and toms. I personally enjoy more natural touch and drum sounds than electronically modified but its only a personal preference

what does mean trigger?
A trigger is a system that captures the vibration, or a hit from a captor (like an electric drumset). In my case my kick drums are triggered with the Axis E-Kit system. It is a little hammer hitting a sensor when my bass drum beater hits the drumhead. It sends a electronic signal to a drum module so that I could choose the kick sound.
It is basically something to transform your acoustic drum to an electronic one 😊

No I didn't ! It's an optical effect with my high tension before I start playing double kick bursts, sometime there is a fast motion of the beater preparing the hits. No paradiddles on this song :)

You should just use this angle 0:55 so people can see what you do. Most people don't actually like heaps of angles and cuts in a drum cover vid.
Too bad you don't have the bell brass snare, then it'd sound exactly like it. No shade, just saying that's the only difference I hear. Most people who cover want to emulate the sound of the sound and you did a great job, I can just tell the snare isn't the same but drums are solid!

@ the thing is: same kit, same cymbals, you even have gloves. Cool, he is a big influence, and that's awesome, but I don't think you need to copy everything. I'm not saying that it was a bad cover or that you are a bad player. I'm just saying that playing that way, people will compare you to Mario, and I believe that the goal of the cover is not to put yourself besides Mario, but to show your work and what you are capable of doing behind a drumset
