Yes, Dimash's singing teacher told him "DON'T DO THOSE TREBLE, IT'S NOT SUITABLE FOR THE VOCAL STRINGS" And he added (in an interview) ~If Dimash had listened to me not to practice those trebles that I forbade him, he wouldn't be the extraordinary singer that he is today.

It is so much fun to watch newbies get their mind blown. I have been listening to Dimash since 2017. and he still surprises me. I would recommend "Olympico". Olympico was composed by Igor Krutoy, who is a famous Russian composer. Krutoy had retired and heard Dimash sing. He came out of retirement to write songs that, according to him, only Dimash can sing.

Dimash takes great singing to extraterrestrial levels every time in each performance. He was born with insane talent and has been working on getting better every day since he was 5 years old! He still practices each day for hours and perfects his breath control through swimming. I do hope you will listen to this again off camera without stopping. You owe it to your earholes! Loved your reaction. Thank you! Hes greatness actually is, that he's able to apply and use ALL the rules there is in singing...perfectly! Once you except the fact that you're witnessing an incredible musical talent with a beautiful tone of voice, that comes along, maybe once in a 100 years, then you either appreciate the experience what he brings to you with every song he sings, or not. One thing is sure, that he has been training since he was 5 years old and it took lots of hard work and dedication to be as good as he is today. His artistry deserves respect and recognition.
You're right, music is subjective. My family doesn't like his style music so he isn't everyone's cup of tea. BUT, you can argue that he is the best technically at mastering his instrument, styles, genres and everything else having to do with being a vocalist. No one comes close to his ability. He also encompasses humility, beauty, education, philanthropy, empathy, tradition and love of family, which just makes him a great human being!
My friends and family don't like Dimash either. Those of us who have known him for five years or more know how special he is, though, and too bad for those who are too unsophisticated to know what we are witnessing.

As someone who has been personally involved in the music industry all of my life, I fully understand that music is subjective and that people select from millions of options the music that is most pleasing. Mask wearing is something that is simply a good idea during a worldwide pandemic and is not a matter of subjectivity at all even though others are not wearing them. It's strictly a matter of choosing the most responsible of two options even though it is not the most comfortable or pleasing. People don't wear masks during a pandemic because they "like" to do so; they do it because they realize the benefits of doing so.

If the objective reason, after verification, is correct, you have a good reason to wear one..., if the objective evidences that are the reason to wear one are not correct, then it is simply not reasonable and even non-sensical to wear one...., as simple as that. And wearing one for subjective reasons is simply stupid, because then you make a choice that is not caused by logic or reason...
I’m just curious as to why everyone I’ve shown him to don’t enjoy his music. Maybe it’s because they’re not used to operatic singing and non-western music or something. Im not sure. It’s a shame though :(

Great reaction. Yeah, he does that to people. He practices at least 3 hours, daily. He knew from toddlerhood that he wanted to sing - seriously. Because both of his parents are in opera, he was allowed to enter a music school at age 5. He now has 2 Master's degrees & is working on his Ph.D. - all in music, of course.
You're expanding your horizons, dude. You'll love your journey into his music. The only drawback is how he puts all other singers in the shade - making their songs sound not quite so good, anymore. It just is what it is, though, & the joy Dimash brings into our lives makes up for that - easily.

I watched this online concert. It was amazing. He is one of a kind. I don´t listen to him on a daily basis like the playlist you have to your daily routine but when I want to be reminded of the awesomeness of the human kind, Dimash is the one to go. And he keeps perfecting his craft, as if it would be possible. I cried all the way the first time I listened to this song.
