Korean sunscreen is so good and wayyy more affordable than American. I’m talking about Supergoop, Roche Posay, Elta MD and Colorscience. Those can get so pricey. I am turning to Korean sunscreen more now. Thank you! ❤
American sunscreens just are not worth the price! Even the basic sunscreen/moisturizer I use for working daily with animals is Austrailian. I like the e.l.f. Holy Hydration SPF when my skin is super dry, but that's the only American company sunscreen I bother with. I think it's ridiculous, or perhaps that is just me.
I agree, it would be nice if the US approved the newer, more stable filters and rated UVA protection. US sunscreens are just not worth spending $$ on in my opinion, especially since they’re also the least cosmetically elegant because of the limited filters available.
I wish sunscreens came with a measured dispenser mechanism :)… surely they test and know how much is needed for the spf coverage on the label and surely it’s different for each brand… and that they put enough in the bottle for a months use.
Use the two finger rule. Pointer and middle finger. Squeeze it out on them (a line worth) and that is enough for you face. Do it another time for your neck!
I highly recommend the ampoule for type 1 rosacea - I use one drop on my nose and cheeks every morning and evening and it's made a big difference, my skin is so much calmer now. That cleanser sounds like it'd be nice in the summer.
I have highly sensitive and reactive skin, and the hyalu-cica water fit sunscreen is my favorite!!! The Trader Joe's clear sunscreen (dupe for supergoop unseen sunscreen) burned my skin and broke me out, and a lot of mineral ones hurt my eyes. I do need to use a little extra moisturizer during the winter bc it dries me out a bit more than usual, halfway through the day, but I don't find that to be a big problem
This is great news for me! Thank you so much!!! I have been trying to get my skin used to the Elta MD UV Clear (for acne-prone skin) and it just hates it. I break out horribly. My skin goes back to normal once I give it a break from that product. I have combo skin (dry/oily depending on the season) and it’s dramatically sensitive and reactive lol I’ll have to give this one a try! Also, do you double cleanse? Like oil cleanse and then go in with your regular cleanser? If so, what oil cleanser do you suggest? I’ve been trying to find a good oil cleanser that won’t irritate my sensitive skin, but still clear out all the sunscreen and gunk.
All their products are my holy grails. Particularly, the Hyalu-Cica toner has saved my skin. I exfoliate at least three times a week, but I don’t wake up with greasy shine anymore thanks to it. All day, all night, that Hyalu-Cica toner SAVES me. I even touch up with a toner. My oily skin has never been more stable in my life. I love every product by them so much.
I saw the sunscreen and immediately clicked! I ADORE this sunscreen!! I got to try it because I won it on a Picky giveaway and it's so lightweight for my oily skin, but also hydrating. I think any skin type would like this!
I’ve had the hyalu-cica moisture cream for a while and I really like the finish. It’s a little light for my super dry skin but it’s still very nice. And I really like the cica ampule, that really seems to help on nights that I do a strong exfoliation.
I use the Skin1004 Air Fit sunscreen. Another wonderful SPF50 product that just melts into the skin with zero white cast. I've started using the centella ampoule and it has worked wonders for my redness and acne flare ups.
I also use that sunscreen sometimes and I have noticed a slight white cast to be honest. It’s not too bad, but it’s definitely noticable. Interesting how the same product can look different on different people’s skin.
The brand gave me that SPF serum for an IG review and I love it! I usually don't like products that contain a lot of hyaluronic acid but this sunscreen is so good
This brand is literally MAGIC for my skin. The Hyalu-Cica sun cream is on regular repeat in my AM routine 💦 Also - had no idea about the Skin "Angel" reference - thx!
I love that sunscreen! It's more lightweight than BOJ, and deserves to have gone viral too! Not greasy, I can just leave it on without using setting powder after.
James Welsh I know what you mean about this line. I have the Madagascar centella hyalu-Cica brightening toner. It’s so gentle, refreshing and moisturising on my combination skin. It doesn’t irritate at all…and certainly doesn’t feel like an AHA-LHA .I love the sensory experience of a toner and this one is a frequent flyer in my routine. Ps Style Korean are currently having an amazing Black Friday sale, lots of products priced at only $7.77 each. Suffice to say I’ve stocked up…especially on sunscreen. The Toboco sunstick being one of them. I tried the sunscreen of this and I’m in love! 😍

Expensive, really? Unless you're maybe referring to drugstore brands, but I found all the K-sunscreens to be cheaper than any sunscreen sold at Sephora...
Yeah. I wish the Neutrogena face sunscreens didn't burn the hell out of my skin and eyes. All the better quality sunscreens cost more for less. But I can't have my sunscreens causing PIHP
Facial sunscreens are always in small containers. Even my body spf is only 5 ounces (150 ml). If the price is reasonable, I'm okay with it. I've used a Paula's Choice face spf for ages and it's recently increased to $37 for 2 ounces. On the hunt for a replacement.

Double cleanse! Use a cleansing balm and then your usual cleanser. Some people don't clean their face long enough. They rub it around for 15 seconds and rinse. You really need to do the double cleanse for 30, 45 or 60 seconds each. Then you know you have really clean skin. If you are throwing in your neck and decolletage, that's another minimal 30 seconds. Make it like a mini facial. Enjoy the massaging of both cleanser into your skin!
I've started using lard, yes, lard, on my face and the results are amazing. Makes perfect sense to me because their skin is so similar to ours. Just need to rub a finger on like a lip balm and that's enough for my dry skin. Just beautiful. Thinking about making a carnivore type balm. Maybe include lanolin, urea and tallow. I've become convinced plants aren't the right places to look for skin care benefits. Why do you think ceramides and proteins work so well.
Something in the new Korean sunscreens is irritating my skin :( BoJ, Toboco and Skin1004! I can use them one day but not every day - my skin will prickle and be red.
@@emigeeayeen Nope, I can use the Biore watery essence and cosRX aloe soothing and Canmake mermaid whatever it is... just these NEW ones that everyone loves
1:13 I really dont think 2 fingers is enough for face and neck, 2 fingers is about 0.8 grams of product, many people even do 2 quite thin lines, then its even less. The 4 fingers for face and neck is also not excessive, you also have to consider that product transfers to your hands. Face+neck plus the area of both inner sides of both hands is at least, 400+250+150 = 800cm2, meaning 1.6 grams of product, so 4 fingers is a right estimate. Most people just forget that when you rub the product in with both hands, quite a lot of product gets transferred to the hands, you also have to take into account that area.. just look at all the product between your fingers, theres quite a lot of area on both hands, where sunscreen will end up.

Please would you be able to try the Scenceskincare SPF 30 Zinc balm!(it's sort of like a Wild deodorant type deal, but no extra casing) They're a small business in Cornwall 🙂 It comes in cardboard packaging like all of their products and I'm really interested in what you think of it! I really love their deodorants so!
I've never tried this brand but now I'm interested 👀
Do you have a link to all of your k beauty recs on Amazon? I’m looking to buy some k beauty sunscreens and I’d like to use your affiliate link to help support your page. ❤️
Hi kindly tell me if bb cream with SPF 50 is the same as sunscreen?
BB cream is makeup, and you’re probably not wearing enough of it to actually get to 50 SPF. You should wear a separate sunscreen underneath BB cream.
Does this burn the eyes?
Liking your hair James.
I hate watching these because every time I'm like "FINE I"LL BUY IT ALL"
😂same!
that sunscreen is my fav
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS SUNSCREEN SO MUCH THAT I JUST ORDERED FOUR BOTTLES OF IT. IM EXCITED TO TRY THESE OTHER PRODUCTS. IT IS SUCH A FANTASTIC BRAND.
It made me breakout but it’s probably because I use a gel moisturizer when this sunscreen is already moisturizing oily skin here I plan on using it byitself
@@Zander.Toledo OH NO! SORRY TO HEAR THAT. I HAVE VERY DRY SKIN SO IT WORKS GREAT FOR ME
I just paused the video so i can go buy this sunscreen 🤣
Should’ve known it was James who got everything sold out on style Korean 😂
Ohhhhh James you’re skin is looking amazing!!! And the hair cut?! 😙🤌🏼 amazing
What does the 4 pluses (++++) means in sunscreen ??
PA is Protection Grade of UVA, the aging rays. Four + is the max. This system is used in Asia. (And SPF refers to UVB, or burning rays.)
I just ordered the laneige water bank gel cream but now I kinda wish I got the gel one from this brand ahh
💞💞Hello James 💞💞 Happy Friday 💞💞
Wow that sunscreen looks awesome
how do you clean your face when you apply SPF every 2 hours?
I heard that lard works so well, happy to hear someone using it! 🎉
i bought the spf before you even finished talking about it ✌️
Is Korean sunscreen Australian grade? Great content always by the way
I think so, but more Australian sunscreens tend to also be water resistant by default.
Damnnn 10 quick pumps😫
