It's interesting how Philippa Soo's version is disappointed and heartbroken, whereas Lea's is more resolute. Soo's Eliza is an estranged wife demanding space to clear her head, whereas Lea sings it like she's kicking Alexander to the curb. They're both distinct interpretations of the song.

You dont belt a piece like Burn its not written that way.... (she did sing Defying Gravity thou) And asking to sing a musical number in acapella without the orchestra... Is just wrong for my opinion... And belting is not a true judge of vocal capability... T if you have ever seen Lea rehearse songs for concert, you won’t judge this so quickly. I would say check her rehearsal video when she did “still hurting” from “the last five years”
