This song hits different as an adult and you understand the lyrics deeply
Agreed 💯
Not tht deep bro.. I'm still pretty shallow.
Way better than that lion king anniversary
I love how it sounds exactly like how it did in the movie. Sung beautifully just like the movie. I can’t stand when the singing is changed just because the singer wanted to make it sound different. Well, I have news for you singers out there who does this, the reason why we fell in love with the song is not only because of the music itself, but because of how it was sung. Please try to keep this in mind. Thank you. 😊
People complaining about the tempo and arrangement of this clearly have never seen the movie and have only heard Vanessa's version on radio. This is the same tempo as the original song, this is how it was written and meant to sound, and yes this was an absolute magical performance. So educate yourselves.
Yes this is the Judy Kuhn Tempo from the movie. They have no right to complain
J LIKE THE SLOWER VERSION BUT ITS BEAUTY BOTH WAYS
**the speed button is there too.. change it to 0.75x
for everyone saying she's singing too fast , the time of the song is how it appeared on the movie. during the scene when she sings this song, she was running with john smith
She definitely painted with all the colors of the wind this was beautifully sung
This is a big time performance. She's singing from her heart.
Was she? I didn’t believe a word she sang. It was too made up or so, I found it to be acted to much. Not convincing.
*too
@@fcturnerno one cares of what you believe or not. Who are you to matter, anyway?
Incredible performance, EVERYONE killed it. Good job everyone!!!!
Christine Allado has done quite an impressive portfolio in musical theatre like Zipporah in The Prince of Egypt the Musical. She's ever dueted with the great tenor Andrea Bocelli. Keep making waves and make the Filipinos proud.
She sung like the song made only for her.. Perfectly..
What an absolutely flawless, perfect performance by all.
For those who said she sung too fast, isn’t it exactly the same tempo with the original soundtrack with Judy Kuhn?? 😮
Yes… I think most of those commenters have never seen the scene in the movie thus comes from, just the Credits version on the radio.
It's cause everyone just learned this song from the Tori Kelly cover which is slower lol this video is exactly how it is in the movie
Or the version from venessa wiliams
Correct. People know of the Vanessa Williams version more so…
Yes it is😊
Beautiful!! She definitely encapsulates the spirit of Disneys Pocahontas
I must have listened to this about 40 or so times, the sound quality is astounding ! Well done to the sound engineer who mic-ed, mixed and recorded this !!!
This is giving me chills, she's so beautiful and nailing this song. It's bringing me back to my childhood well done.
👵🏿
Christine Marie Allado !!! Cheers to another Filipino making it to the big stage😍🥰😍🥰
Thank you for posting her name! I was looking for it in the description but it wasn't to be found. Shame on the poster to not post her name.
agreed always good to see all walk of life succeed.
There is nothing wrong with the arrangement and tempo
This is beautiful, I love it
This had me absolutely sobbing, it was my favourite Disney movie as a child. The music is so beautiful and powerful, it really overwhelmed me hearing it today ❤️❤️❤️
im on e tough son of a gun, and yet this song is SO DANG POWERFUL and i do love it!
How can she sing this fast and still this good? Beautiful version.
Put the playback speed to normal. ;)
This performance was incredible and this song never grows old! Loved this presentation. What a great way to convince John Smith to embrace inclusivity!
Lea Salongas version will forever live rent free in my head
Gen z complaining. This mirrors the exact tempo from the MOVIE
lmaooo
Agreed❤❤
Powerful, emotional and plain fantastic! Beautifully and masterfully performed in song with amazing great orchestra!!!! Bravo!!!

Internet lurkers think tempo was too fast. My my, these performers are in a godd*mn orchestra. Im pretty sure they know their Tempo
omg i cried, so nostalgic
i love the music arrangements n her beautiful voice, blended so well 🙏🏻❣️❣️😍
This hits you different. My God that was amazing
Proud Pinoy here. Brings back childhood memories. She looked liked Pocahontas singing in real life too!
Lyrically, such a thoughtful song. For me, "you can own the earth and still, all you'll own is earth until"
Very profound if you are a child I suppose
@@schmidth Good lyric can be-yes, understandable, even to a child. Or a snob "I suppose".
The lyric that gets choked up is, “how high does the sycamore grow? If you cut it down, then you’ll never know. And you’ll never hear the wolf cry to the blue corn moon…” 😭 I just love how the lyric comes full circle, not to mention the crescendo from the orchestra into that lyric. So powerful ❤

Goosebumps. Shivers. TOO GOOD!!
You all have made a difference with your kind words. Thank you!
That was an incredible performance! The orchestra and vocalist gave me goosebumps the whole time!! 😭🩷

The song has a deep message and I think that came across beautifully. Congratulations to all the orchestra and the singer and let’s not forget the composer and the conductor either! I think they indeed pained with all the colors of the wind!
Wow wow wow , such a beautiful rendition. I felt like i was brought to the forest to experience Pocahontas' life.
I loved this movie and bought a CD and played it a hundred times my daughter looks like Pocahontas with 2 braided hair 🥰🥰🥰

This performance is magical. It is so incredibly good! I wish I could have been there as well to witness it

A N O THER MISSPOKE ,,ITS ABOUT THE SONG AND SECONDARILY YES SHE IS BEAUTIFUL
Didn't think anyone could sing it as well as Judy Kuhn, but here we are! Fabulous.

Wow!! That was absolutely beautiful! ❤️
Beautiful, gave me chills
Goosebumps 🥰
Christene Allado did a superb performance but she's so underrated.
Bravo! I love this song. Grace and wisdom, that is what is missing in most of the female heroes in motion pictures.
loved it
Actually if you go watch colors of the wind in the movie, it’s a tiny bit slower. The music is the same but the singing isn’t.
Beautiful.
Beautiful. ❤
Amazing Orchestra!!! I like the version of Lea Salonga.
Pocahontas is my favorite 😊
Goosebumps
Amazing rendition!!! 👏👏🤩
A beautiful women singing a lovely song.
Worth watching a few times to admire both 😘

Holy Cow, wonderful. Thank you
Une superbe orchestration et une très belle voix l'accompagnant.
Magnifique
Has a spiraaaaaaaattttttt!!!! Has a name... ☺️
Beautiful
Wow 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Wow, beautiful ❤
Of all the Disney movie of the princesses Pocahontas is my favorite the meaning the movie different to others.
Excellent!
Beautifull.
the song is echoing..... and the background music goes on beyond..... sia but hope is in it.....
One of the reasons why I love Puccini's version of Madama Butterfly (1974) better, he slowed it down and made it more dramatic and pleasing. Some arrangements are just a tad too fast that you lose the nature and enigmatic flow of the song. And she would've sang this way softer too, if it was just a tad slower.
Amazing!! ♥️
