Hey Arvind.. Very informative.. Even after living in Norway for 9 years I was not aware of these 3 parts. Thanks! One crucial point which your audience should know is that one gets further deductions on direct tax (22% as of 2020) for the amount of interest you pay on any credits your have, like mortgage, credit card, car loan and so on. That brings down the total amount of direct tax you pay.

I can sum up the Norwegian tax system very easy: if you have money, you owe the tax office 80% of it. This includes all the hidden tax layers too.
If you try move away from Norway there’s a 37% exit tax on top of that 100% on all the waleslth you have left after paring normal tax.
    Enjoy moving to Norway.

You forgot a deduction. Interest on all loans - gives a repayment corresponding to 28% of the interest
. Its also importent to mension that tax in Norway also includes savings for pensions
    Here its a simpy way Here's an easier way to put it simply for singles. Kr. 60 000 (free) Kr. 100,000 (9%) Kr. 300,000 (19.9%) kr. 500,000 (25.7%) Kr. 1,000,000 (33.3%) .
