Can you help me? I got the SCT device updater, and the LiveLink Gen-II ready, and my custom tunes downloaded, but I cant find those files on either Browse like on the video, or locate custom tune. What is happening?
@@pyroreapernick8116 dude download them again, and again until you find them on the SCT Device Updater.. I got it done probably that same day I wrote the comment lol.. All I did was download them again like 3-4 times until I could transfer them to the Device then just delete the other ones... I didn't ask anyone help.. Try it, you might just get it done today 👌 hope you can, best of luck!
@@thecapeezys im not really sure... I don't see why not, I only downloaded the Lito custom tunes, so you might just be able too.. I'd as in a facebook group page or on Instagram..
That's odd. If you're tuned with us, shoot us an email to sales@vmpperformance.com and let our support team know what's going on. We'd be happy to look into it and see if we can help.
Sorry for your difficulties. Drop an email with a photo of what your problem is to sales@vmpperformance.com. If we can help you, we will. If it's an SCT device error, you may need to contact SCT support, who will be more than happy to assist.
It depends on whatever modifications have been done and the vehicle itself. If we're talking Coyote Mustang, anything changed between the MAF (mass air sensor) and Oxygen sensors will require a tune update to run properly. That includes things such as cold air intakes, throttle bodies, intake manifolds etc.
Hard to say Mike. Something we commonly see with the push to start vehicles is that the button wasn't held long enough to go beyond accessory mode and actually have the ignition on. Otherwise, we'd recommend reaching out to SCT customer service. They'll happily help you with diagnosing any issue with your device.
@@VMPPerformanceTV yeah I tried it for an hour last night. It’s on a 18 GT350. If I tap the start button or hold it for the 2-3 seconds, it still gives the same screen saying full power accessory active.
It'd be worth putting the SCT Livewire software on your computer, then hooking to your device to see if there's an updated firmware for it. We've seen software updates help with reading specific vehicles.
Mac's have Bootcamp which allows you to install Windows on a partition and run Windows on a Mac. I have a Macbook Pro and I actually have a Windows Partition so I can run my SCT device on it. I have had Windows on it in years past as I've ran other Windows only software in my life. Have had this MBP for 10 years.
Thank you for this video!!!!
Where do you get these customers tunes? And can they help me with towing through mountains, or are they just for smoke and burnouts?
What do you use when you download the file? Whenever I download the cef fil it comes with an internet explorer icon. Not a piece of paper
Is that Andrew from mustang lifestyle doing the voiceover?😂
So I return my to stock but does it void warranty? Or would dealer know if my is tune when I didn’t unmarried my tune ?
They are able to see whenever your truck has last been flashed. So no actual proof of tuning, but they could be suspicious.

Does this mean I can have a E85 tune and a 93 tune?
Yes, you can have multiple tune files.
Can i still use my stock tune until i get my custom tune?

What do you do when the computer doesn't recognize your device after installing device updater and updating drivers
With driver issues, you'll need to contact SCT. Their support can be found at: sctflash.com/help-juice/
I have a 11020 error. I know for sure the voltage is high enough, I even have it on a charger. Could the device itself be bad?

As far I've seen Windows only, not 100% it tho
