Got the LRX in the mail today. I’m terrible with computers and technology in general but this video made the step by step extremely easy. Was able to flash the tune on the car and do data logs no problem. First time ever getting a car tuned by Lund, but will sure not be the last. Fast, easy, and great customer service. TOP NOTCH
Sweet and thank you for continuing to innovate and thinking of the customers and your future. Trying to finish my coyote swap and hopefully working with Lund.
The device looks so polished. Coming from the NGauge era, it’s nice to see such a smooth device. Several NGauge “replacements “ are really janky but the smoothness of this device is amazing. People don’t appreciate that until they don’t have it. Really nice!
So this device is able to flash from a pump gas tune to a e85 tune without having to have an internet connection once the tunes are loaded on the device correct? I hate that about my RTD. Hard to get a signal when I get to the track.
Great job! I picked up a used procal device to use as a scan tool so i dont have to lug around a laptop. The one thing i dont like is the touch screen is a bit wonky. Maybe include a stylus to make things easier for your customers.
@@Rymccyes it is Datalog super easy Receiving tunes super easy Back then sct datalog was annoying bc you needed a laptop in car Now I use my lrx and go back inside to my desktop to send the tune Easier than the n gauge as well Touch super responsive Gonna order a multi tune today once I get my e85r dialed
Looks great 👍 it does me no good at all having a Roush 2650 😢 I did get it tuned. It does run great. I will never know if the lund tune would run better. sharp-looking programmer though
Can’t stress the PLUG into a battery charger enough. My car wasn’t having it after I pulled the stock file. Same thing after uploading new tune. Hopefully my battery is still alive and I didn’t kill it. Tune is great if I can get my car to start😂
This is what I was wondering. Just got mine and it appears it comes on when plugged into the OBD port even with car off. Will be disappointed if I can’t leave it in the car plugged in.
Yes you are correct. After buying the LRX and a Tune from Lund you will download the tune onto the LRX and then plug the LRX into the Vehicle. Hope this helps
Can you set the gauges to alarm? For instance i used the Knock Retard ( well actually adaptive octane logic via the LEDs on ngauge i could get a good feel of each tank of 93 ) on real time gauges to flash or turn red for example?
No. There’s no alarms like the ngauge had. In terms of that portion of it, the ngauge had it beat. That’s not really the selling point of the ngauge in our opinion though. We’ve never ever used the gauges screen in our race cars for anything but quick glance. And we now typically do that with the datalogging screen.
A constructive feedback. I would have wished you guys had used a professional company to record, edit and fine tuned this footage. It would have added a more professional touch for the introduction of such a powerful device. I can only image that time was the main issue. Besides that the device looks amazing, straight forward and user friendly. This thing will for sure break your sales record.
We never have used a professional company for videos and probably never will. There is no ROI on it for us. That’s thousands of dollars for something like this due to planning, editing, etc. Appreciate the feedback, but also no thank you.
If i save stock tune , load custom tune, get done datalogging and am finished, can usesr load stock tune and custom tunes back and forth from devis multiple times in same vehicle without buying unlocks if still married to that same vehicle,
It's not going to keep uploading and keep downloading the same files every time you sync. But once it's married to that vehicle you can keep logging and we can keep sending tune updates to flash with no issue.

It will flash one but we don’t have a way to log analog air fuel on them with it so until there is a good solution for it we can’t sell it.
Question, my lrx device doesn’t allow me to do a crank relearn. Says something along the lines that I’m not authorized? Or something similar. Does it have to be requested through the email?
You get it figured out?
Cool but should have been a round guage(n guage style) instead of a square box
I think they did that so you wouldn’t stick it in the vent which could cause damage from the moisture
Good stuff
On a 2020 manual GT, can the device simply adjust the diff gear ratio to 4.09 without have to re-tune?
No. That’s outside of the oem range and has to have a range widened in the tune in order for some other things to be happy.
What if you already have tunes on your RTD/TDN are you able to transfer them to this device?
It’s not transferring, but yes the same tunes can be manufactured on our end to work on the device.
how to you get the updater on a mac book pro ?
It’s only windows based so you would need bootcamp.
Can we create our own custom maps with this device?
No
Can you upgrade to this from RTD device??
You can buy the device only and we can make the tunes compatible with it. But there is no trade in service.
