- I was blessed to spend 30 minutes asking my mother-in-law, who we affectionately call Nana Paine, 6 questions I thought would be helpful and encouraging to young mama's like myself!

When she said “be still and listen to God” that really resonated with me because you can do all the reading and praying but if you can’t deepen your relationship without hearing God’s response

I loved this! I have 9 children and I loved the examples of how you taught your children and how you made your home a heaven on earth. Thank you so much for sharing. It touched my heart today as I’m in the trenches and want to teach my children the way the Lord would want:)

That was beautiful!!! Her heart for teaching Truth and balance as a woman of God was very intriguing!! I am 71 years old and rally have a heart for hearing the heart of young women--single, childless, mothering, etc. I would have gained a lot of encouragement along those lines had I had that in my earlier years. Thank you for sharing!! May God be glorified for Godly women, who have the love of Jesus foremost in their hearts!!!
This video was such a blessing. I was saved 4 years ago and did not grow up in a Christian home. I now have 4 kids of my own and we seek to raise them In a Godly manner. This was so needed for my walk with the Lord and in raising my family. Thank you!! God bless!!

Capturing the wisdom of these wonderful woman is something that you can pass down for generations. It is a lost art to sit and “interview” folks to learn how they navigated life throughout their seasons of life. I so wish I had the wear with all to have documented my grandparents advice, knowledge and lessons they learned so as to feel closer to them now that they returned home to the lord. Wow, the second last answer was such an eye opener for me when she talked about expectations. I realized that I was placing that on myself and not on God. Thanks for having your mother-in-law answer some questions, she sounds like a wonderful wise and godly woman.
I loved this reminder from Nana to put the lord first daily and to pray for situations you have no control over. I’m an empty nester for about 15 years now and it is hard to keep up with the grands

Susanna Wesley birthed 19 children but she sadly only raised 9... my mom has a book I read multiple times growing up. It has her writings in it and the back had all her children in order and the ones that passed away and when they did... I was named after her.♡♡

I too had a godly mother in law and felt so blessed to have her. She passed away 42 years ago and I still miss her. She taught me how to be a great hostess and how to set a beautiful table. She loved me like a daughter and referred to me as her daughter when we were with other people. I came from a large disfunctional family and God knew just what I needed and gave me Marie! She also modeled a Titus 2 woman and loved her husband and son and was my role model for a mother in law to my two sons.

I would love to hear about how she was when the kids were younger. How she kept her composure. How she handled when the kids would fight. How she would handle stress and how she found an outlet for it. I would love to hear some things like that.
