- How do you make a 12×12 room work for four little girls? Chad and I got to work dreaming up functional designs and creative space-saving ideas to make it work. From the beautiful built-ins, for various types of storage, to the triple bunk beds the girls are ecstatic about to a clever Murphy bed solution for our little Finley. We found many ways to make the space useful for our girls as they grow up together!
You'll see how we drew up our concept art, with a bit of help from the girls, and see various ways Chad used money-saving techniques to utilize and repurpose multiple pieces of wood to create some of the accents seen throughout the design. I'll also show you some of the design techniques I've found most useful when staging a room, including adding a vintage feel to the beautiful built-in shelves that Chad built!

I agree...beyond being talented, Chad is also very humble.
Benefits are close friendship/relationship, sweet time together, accountability. Privacy really isn’t needed all the time, they can change in a bathroom or let the others know they are changing and to stay out, if they need a minute alone during the day they can go in and it doesn’t mean all kids are in there all the time. Our kiddos are rarely in their rooms, we spend most time as a family…
Lol, considering you commented on someone else’s comment instead of the actual video I thought you were wanting others opinions instead of just Chad and Erin. My apologies. Usually if someone wanted only Chad and Erin’s answer they would comment on the video instead of under someone else’s comment.
Lots of big families have the 3 bunks or multiple beds since bedrooms are just for sleeping. To each their own right?!

Exactly, because they were drawing on paper what they wanted in their bedroom and all that storage space should be about the children things, I know when I was a child I liked seeing my things in my room, and I loved it when my mom put a full length mirror in my bedroom so that I could see how I looked after I had gotten dressed up. I was 6 years old when she did that for me ❤❤❤
I first love the special touch-the zip, on the 3 bigger beds where the girls could make their own beds. That was so clever! And how extraordinary in making that bed for baby girl. Love the racks for the books and those frames for each of their photopics. Well done dad for your hardwork. Well done mom for all ypur special touches too to make their room so beautiful. Never thought a room could be done so good for 4 people.
i think this is just a perfect room for the girls . Amazed at Chad's talent for wood working . This is a gift that God has given and I know Erin is grateful that she has you to help . Wonderful girls room. LOVE it!
The girls' room looks like something I would expect to see in a high end magazine. It is absolutely beautiful!

The girls room is absolutely gorgeous! I love how it all came together. I just have one question. It looks like Carson has a larger room. What made ya'll decide to put him alone in a larger room and then four the 4 girls to get the smaller of the two rooms? I'm just curious, no ill intentions in asking.
I think it was due to the layout of the design that Erin had in mind!

I have just today met your precious family!! I know I will enjoy following you. The girls' bedroom is soo amazing. I am saying the following sentences so, so carefully but I wish each of your precious little girls would have given their daddy a thank you-hug for the Amazing work and time this took. I'm big on appreciation so I hope I'm not misunderstood. All of this is said gently.....I'm a grandma and I am seeing in the younger generation a lack of using the words, thank you. So please hear my heart. I, too am a Believer, so I appreciate all you are teaching your children. I simply felt I could not let this go as Chad did so very, very much to bless mommy and girls.

Beautiful room , Chad is amazing he is such a great husband & daddy. Erin you have an eye for decorating , I would be afraid to put all those glass decor in my kids and grandkids room . You can teach your kids to leave items alone but when other kids come over that's usually when kids get a little crazy exicted and the room gets turned upside down! It is a lovely girls with the space you have.
