Twice I parked in the exact same spot that was barely bigger than my Prius. It was truly the parking spot from hell. Park assist moved the care in a smooth fluid like movement. The feature is worth the extra $$!
I think in future this will be fitted into every car, the programming behind it isn't very powerful and pretty easy to implement - (although I'm sure thousands of hours have gone into the tests/development) can't wait to get my hands on this car on Sept!
The reverse parking assist seems more refined then the golf assist. Do you agree? The assist is something most don't need. But in a situation of being extremely tired this will be great to avoid accidents.
I think it's a nice insurance! May never need it but if you did then it would be useful. Elbow injury or have had alcohol and someone else is driving for you...etc
That's so cool!!!! Does the car breaks to avoid hiting the other cars? I've also noticed that the parking sensors graphic does not appear in the rear camera screen. It should is it does on the previous Auris and stated in the owner manual.
Unfortunately, the 2020 Corolla in the USA does not have that feature. Toyota limits certain features to certain countries. There is no wagon version in USA, just sedan and hatch. Likewise, the USA version doesn't have heated steering wheel or wiper deicer that yours has. Those features are available in Canada however.
First of all, nice video, very detailed showcase of how this feature works. Do you know how big of an extra space the car needs for a paralel parking? Like 30cm more space than the length of the car is enough? How big would be that number? The same goes for the reverse parking.
Two years later, one model that has them is the Corolla Cross Atmos Hybrid will have this feature which they call "Advanced Park Assist". I don't know if you have a Toyota dealer nearby, I'm sure it would be fascinating to see one demonstrated in real life. The test drive vehicles have arrived and apparently my dealer mentioned that there is a steady interest in this new cross-over vehicle.
I am thinking of getting a corolla XSE model from abroad, because it has way better technology features than the UK spec and it looks much better the car. In UK we still don’t have a Apple car play. The XSE model comes with blind spot assist, road sign assist, lane trace assist, pedestrian detection, pre collision breaking. We have all that except the the blind spot monitor and Apple car play. Quick question if I was to get it from abroad, would Apple car play still work in the car, if I bring it here, I know this sounds like a silly question, but I am curious ?
Why oh why did you feel it necessary to have music banging away in the background? Excess baggage. Less is more. Were your presentation silent you would have drawn us in closer to the subject - which I think was something to do with automatic parking, I dont know because I baled after about a minute.
I’m not really a fan of the design :( But my mom will buy me my first car as long as it’s Japan made. It’s really hard searching for Japan cars with park assist here. 🙄
They show something different, details that others don't show. I can see how the parking sensors work, that they have even the lateral reading, not every car has this, it is useful.

As an American, we need this feature. Some people just don't know how to park.
some dont know how to drive

Edit: some= MOST
This is why I am a Toyota Lover 🤩
Works really good! I don’t have that feature on my Corolla, but I don’t miss it either 😊. Good for those who want it
Best YT channel, thx for making that videos!

Instablaster.
Does this come with all models?
I love this channel.
Is it possible to use this feature to park front side?
Now the biggest question: Why did they take this feature away in the 2023 and later models?
I wish we had this Corolla in Australia
Do you know if the 2018 Corolla hybrid have parking sensors ? Beep beep sound on both front and back ?

which country is this available in?
Definitely in most countries in Europe
Super good video!! Thank you!
Which Corolla is that? Combi?
Hi man, thanks for the video. One question. Do you need to break manually or the car will stop itself?
Yes, you have to use brake and gas pedals by yourself :) Look at the info from the driver display.
@@1001cars well in other cars it stops on their own and on my phone I was not able to see whether you move with your leg or not :) Thanks!
Does all corrola have the self parking I'm getting the toyota touring sport 2023 1.8 icon
It depends on the equipment, you should check it with your Toyota dealer
That war a pretty big slot. It would have been much better to see how the car would handle the smaller parking slot.
Hello does the Toyota Corolla Hatchback XSE model have parking assist as well, and does it come with Apple car play ?
Corolla hatchback has the same feature. About Apple CarPlay: it depends on the market. You have to ask your Toyota dealer about it
1001cars wooow really, So all the Corolla hatchback models SE trim and XSE has definitely got parking assist ?

ピカチュウPikachu It need time to like the new design. The Corolla is the only real option (reliability etc)
OR get the sedan. It has a different facelift!
Let your mom get you a supra mk4 dude
The background music was awful and I’m sorry but I could not watch the whole thing. It was so aggravating.
There is a button known as "mute"
that's not a corolla
Wrong. That IS Corolla
Horrible music.

Great work!
