*Love it!! I used to use a propane grill and after using my Weber, the food just tastes so much better and the temp **MyBest.Kitchen** control is so easy! Will never use a propane grill again!*
Thanks for the great review! I actually have the George F. grill and I love it. I have heard a few people say that the stand is not sturdy, but mine went together solid and has no issue. As far as grill flavor.. I burn a piece of charcoal in a small metal dish, inside the grill. Add a little of the meat juice to produce smoke and close the lid. Works wonders. Cheers!
I’ve had the Weber Q2400 for a few years on my condo terrace. I’m pretty happy with it being limited to electric. This is my second one. The first one lasted about 5 years with pretty regular use. Im on my third year of the Q2400. You have to let it heat up about 15-20 minutes. And I do use a temperature probe. I would recommend the Weber.
I bought this as my first propane grill. It's been a fun, learning experience ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxCx5fHawkK9OoV-ojFrY8JLnZrFwAmvUt . I think it's a bit too pricey after looking at other grills, but it wasn't hard to put together and it works really well. I love the side burner option for heating food during a power outage. I have an electric stove and live in the South (Hurricane season), so this was a bonus. I also bought a cover for it and it has protected it nicely (the Char Broil All-Season Grill Cover 3-4 Burner: Large). Every few grill sessions, I take the rack (or grate) and burner covers off and clean them with a non-abrasive scrubby and mild soap. I wipe the excess off of the bottom as well, taking care to avoid the gas and pilot lines.
Thanks for the great detailed review. I recently found out that my condo complex is changing their by laws and in a couple years gas grills will no longer be allowed, mainly due to state laws and insurance reasons cause no one has the space to keep a grill more than 10 feet away from the side of their unit. So just started browsing reviews as i have no idea what to look for in an electric grill. your video has answered a lot of questions i didn't know I would have and gave me a great starting point when looking for a potential grill to buy
Thank you. I was given a small Electric BBQ with a lid. The surface was non stick but the coating was cracking. I put some aluminium foil down and put some chick pieces on medium. Not hot enough so I put on high and it cooked the chicken but they tasted bland. Your great video explains why. I have picked up a cheap metal tray with a non stick coating so I will experiment with this. Again a very good Video.
I LOVE my Char Broil electric grill! It's my 2nd one, (left my 1st big kettle one behind when I sold my home) .... and a much smaller one, which works beautifully for my new small space. You will never be disappointed in a "Char Broil" electric grill. I actually use a Lodge cast iron grill pan on top of my grids when grilling. It works beautifully and grills spot on each time. ♡
I have a patio bistro that was given to me by a guy that lost his townhouse. It worked for about a year. I’ve tightened all of the bolts, fixed a ground fault in the controller, & I have a new heating element & grease tray coming tomorrow. I’m very excited to get back to grilling on my rebuilt unit!! 😁
Really appreciate this detailed review and as a result I decided to purchase the charbroil grill for my son. You answered all of my questions and then some. Great job.
Many thanks for your great review! Last summer I inherited a nearly new Char-Broil Patio Bistro and nearly sold it at a yard sale as mistakenly thought that you needed a 240 volt power source or it would not heat up enough to cook. After watching your review where it earned 2nd place and learning that it will run off a normal outside 120 GFI plugin, I am anxious to give it a try especially cooking steak and chicken. Yum!
I own the Weber & started out on the first try by grilling 25-30% fat burgers & everything else down the road tasted excellent. I used charcoal in the past exclusively & for simple cooking for a small family, the electric Weber can't be beat.
I own the 2400 and it rocks. Over time, food will taste more like the Q propane, which I used to own. Clean the grate gently and do not clean the element- per Weber- and you will develope very good flavor on your food. It gets to 600 degrees heat. The top and bottom are lined with aluminum. So that adds for a consisant heat along with the enameled cast iron grates
I got the char broil over the holidays and was excited to try it, however it couldn't do 400 degs after one hour of heating. I do live at 7000ft, so I will probably have to stick to gas.
Four minutes in and this guy tells the truth and nothing but the truth so help us God. Thank you for that. I really appreciate it. 🙏 I will be watching more vids from you.
I don't know if "grill flavor" is the purpose of these grills. As someone who rents, I just want the ability to cook outside for the experience and not have smoke or the smell of salmon floating around my tiny space. Great review.
Thanks for the review, but for future videos I recommend you focus on each grill one at a time, maybe 1st threw 5th place or something like that. I found it confusing seeing you jump from grill to grill on random topics. I would rather hear your complete opinion on each product and then rate them at the end with the good and bad. Also people like seeing more food cooking clips and less someone playing with the grill lids while they wave their hands around. Give the crowd eye candy while you express your opinions you'll see more interest if we see the food cooking on each grill as you review each one.
Selling my George Forman, worked ok but the grease drips are a problem. The lid has to be lifted and set somewhere (hot) and at the marina it could fall into the water. Looking forward to the Charbroil hinged lid.
Nice video! I like the dry heat of an electric or charcoal grill, as compared to the moisture given off by gas flames. So with the Weber Q2400 for instance, have you tried adding wood chips in a foil tent to add 'smoke'? Also, have you tried to 'smoke' a pork butt for instance? Thanks!
Thanks; I haven't tried a long smoke on the Weber Q2400 but I'd look to grab the roasting shield (www.amazon.com/Weber-6562-Original-Roasting-Grilling/dp/B00FLRB416) to help with the direct heat; otherwise I think you'd burn the bottom 1/4 of the cut.
Seen a few US videos and the Weber Q1400 seems to have extra "protective" metal insets in the lid and barrel, these are not in the Northern European version I have. Not sure if these are due to some different laws, better/cheaper construction etc. Edit: I figured it out. My version is with a cast aluminum body (around 25 lb); since you said 50 lb it might be cast iron/steel and aluminum inner plates in the us. Edit 2: Wrong again. The US Weber page says 28 lb...
Strange. The lid is cast aluminum. As for the weight, it looks to be listed at 41 lbs. I'm gonna need to pull it out of the garage and weigh it for you to get an exact answer for everyone.
Nice Video, but I don't see how the Char-Broil is more portable vs the others? How are you going to take the Char-Broil tailgating? With the others you just put them in your trunk.
Power on these is way to low. Most of them are like 1500-1700 Watts, that's not going to give you any real grilling power. Although I suppose you would be limited to a standard 120 volt outlet.
*Love it!! I used to use a propane grill and after using my Weber, the food just tastes so much better and the temp **MyBest.Kitchen** control is so easy! Will never use a propane grill again!*
Wow. I know someone's going to love this Weber when I give it to them!
I just Bought a Weber have to set it up now thanks
How's your electricity bill compared to propane.

Good stuff.
This is the absolute best comprehensive/comparative electric grill review video, thanks for your hard work!!
Thanks for the kind feedback.
What a great review. Seeing all these side by side was a phenomenal touch. Seeing the size differentials was important for me.
This review was really really well done (no grill pun intended)! Excellent job!
I got the smaller WEBER Q1400 and it´s awesome on the grill results and the quality!
how did you get the amazon links to show up with photos on mobile?
Great review! I've had the Weber for a few years now and I've been very happy with it! Everything you outlined in your video is spot on.

I love my Q 2400
I have Char-Broil Electric but it does not stay hot enough even with lava rocks. I guess I will try the Q2400. Thanks
i have a Char-broil patio bistro, I use an empty tuna can with a thin layer of smoking pellets. Which for the price go a long way.
Hi do u put small holes 8n bott9m of can ,thanks

I bought Weber grill Q1400 and all i can say is that this is super grill and easy to clean up
Is the flavor real like in regular gril with the smoke?

Great review. I considered getting the Weber but decided on the Kenyon city grill. You should review that.
is it any good?
@@rockobill7637 yeah it's good.....at emptying your wallet. Thing is over $900.00 U.S.
I've always been a fan of Weber products so I'm happy to see that they do not disappoint on performance for electric BBQ!
Thanks for making this video and trying all these for us!!! Some hard works here!
great review !
Really good information! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for the great review! Love the dog segment! 💕 🐶
Thanks for a very thorough review!
Great review! Thank you.
Picking up a weber today from FB Marketplace for $20 today!
I used to have the char broil, you forgot to mention flair up. And I mean bomb fires.
I got the char broil over the holidays and was excited to try it, however it couldn't do 400 degs after one hour of heating. I do live at 7000ft, so I will probably have to stick to gas.

Great review! Helped me a lot!
Great, honest review.
George foreman has a drip tray that you didn’t install I would’ve caught all the grease
Selling my George Forman, worked ok but the grease drips are a problem. The lid has to be lifted and set somewhere (hot) and at the marina it could fall into the water. Looking forward to the Charbroil hinged lid.
but was it good at grilling (putting aside design flaws)??

thanks. excellent presentation
Thanks for your review. Very well done.
Thanks Mark, I try.
What if you were to place a small bit of soaked woodchips in the grill for some smoked flavour?
Have you tested the Americana electric grills on the BBQguys website?
Take a shot every time Smoking Meat Geeks says Cuisine - Art.

i subbed first 3 seconds seeing the meat ready for testing.

What about showing the actual cook and see how powerful they are bro.
How do you remove the wing nut on the second electric tabletop grill? We tried removing it but unable to do so.

Your trunk is not a tailgate.

The weber is superior, but it costs quite a bit more. Both the steak and the chicken looked far better than the others.
Weber Lumin the best, steaming, grilling, smoking in one bbq
Charbroil does not keep heat
Any results of a bbq flavor or what anyone's adding for flavor? Like to get Dad back into outdoor bbq. Thanks
Try adding some wood chips: smokingmeatgeeks.com/smoke-tubes/
Thank you for the great review. I enjoyed it. However, Cuisinart is pronounced KWEE-sin-art.
Thank you, now I know to stick with gas or charcoal
Liked your video very much. Char Broil is made in China, Weber is made in the USA and no assembly on the Weber.

wont touch electric now. i prefer grill flavor
May as well just use an oven at home
Weber q1200 is the biggest pos I’ve ever bought. (It’s a gas grill)
The parts break on Yearly basis.

These grills are mimicking the outdoor grills using electricity. These are too large, cumbersome, and probably not safe for the indoors.
Who cares about cooking a whole chicken on a grill
It takes a tough man to make it tasty chicken.
good video taught me to never get an electric grill, id rather cook on cast iron
