Anyway, I would call that incident both drivers bad judgement. Both assumed something, and those assumptions were both wrong. I would have waited for half a second before attacking past the clio. In this video only you can see several "into apex" dives that turn out to be catastrophic mistakes.

In view of that the team were very lucky that the car appeared to suffer so little damage. I hope the driver is OK now, it looks like that one really knocked the stuffing out of them...

Have you been driving a lot with a car that has front left wheel linkage ripped off and wheel pointing where ever it happens to be pointing? I bet he was trying to keep the car out of the way but struggled.
Every AUDI R8 LMS had some problems and crashes... Still did 1. And. 3. After 24h, if every AUDI would have not any problems just like secound BMW then would be 1.2.3.4.5.6. For AUDI lms.

The driver was in the hospital for a quick check. Everything was fine and he appeared on the german lifestream before the race ended.
