Thanks commentators... WRT did go on wets at the last pitstop, and it was impossible to do without. Plus we did pit the car because René hit a wall in his lap on the slicks, and was so worrying over the radio that we were ready to get the car inside the garage for repairs if it was even possible. We switched to wets, checked the car and off he was.
Thanks for this, watched as much as i could via the live stream and glad i held to the end, the last 30 minutes was sheer brilliance, with the changes and action on the track.
FSboarder real me watch the whole 24hrs of it and remember every second. Jk I usually watch the first 2hrs, then on and of and finally the last 2 or so.
What a beautiful race, the cars, the track, the drama. simply a joy to watch
This last half hour was so crazy. Thanks for putting this up!

What about the raised hand? Was it "Go!" or was it "Wait!"?

Amazing sportsmanship by Rene Rast massive respect
Ah the amazing professionalism from Audi. They can really work under pressure. All these happy incidents sure made it the race of the weekend
Meanwhile in F1...
Lol. F1 should change the date of Monaco GP. It's outshined by Indy, N24H and Nascar in this glorious weekend of May.
Schyderap Maybe the N24h, but Nascar and Indy aren't very popoular in Europe.
René Rast's WRT did go on wets!
I always like to see race finish/good battle videos. No one else posts them. However, 32 minutes is too long. Here are the highlights for those interested, only 6 minutes total.

Callum House but Im sure someone will apreciate your effort
couldn't disagree more, endurance racing requires a longer story, and this was a masterpiece
I thought Nordschleife was Russian at first, But i know it's German now.
