Thanks for the battle rep, guys. I felt it was a great balance between following the channel template and onboarding your own DNA. The Slanesh army looked awesome !
There was a heavy amount of wyldwood between both units. Also have you tried pumping damage into immortal guard? That is NOT easy. They are sooo had to kill. 😵💫
@@jarodbrown4715 it was the last turn and they didn’t shoot though.. hard to kill and impossible are two different things. And if a hero has a bodyguard, it’s always a good plan to get rid of them before taking out the hero. Especially if it takes nothing from you to try and kill them.
Nice video. It might not have mattered as the Immortis Guards are hard to kill if you don't have high damage output but if some of these other archers were in range on them (but not in range to shoot at the hero), shooting at them first and potentially damaging/killing some of them could have helped so that the caster can't shrug off as many wounds into them. If I'm not mistaken, 8 damage got shrugged onto them and the general survived with 2 wounds (unlucky with the no -1 rend trigger from blissbarbs) so I think that 9 damage would have had to go through into the Immortis Guards for the general to die.
Hey, thanks again for another banger! Any hot takes on the changes to the double turn? On one hand, I've heard grumblings from 40k players that it's a big reason they don't play both games so I'm hoping this will open up the community, at least at the competitive level. On the other hand, I don't see a lot of use-cases for it anymore.
You basically aren't going to use it anymore unless you can: - Table your opponent - You already know that you cannot complete any battle tactics on that turn anyway, so the penalty for taking the double is moot

Thanks for the positive feedback. we just spent a weekend filming 5 games with the rage babies so there is alot more to enjoy
I’m confused why that first full strength unit of Blissbarb archers didn’t shoot the bodyguard unit giving “lookout sir” before shooting the general

You right bro. He could have moved and ran to get the angle. Haha 🤣
At least with that 11 man unit there.
But we talking MASSIVE dice failures would have made it worthwhile haha.
There’s no obj wholly outside territory on this mission - would have meant T2 OBR tactic was not an option
“Forcing the Hand” battle-plan has 3 objectives wholly outside your territory. 😉 Thanks for watching Orkimedes!!

This may have swung the game, thanks for taking time to comment. See you soon for the FOURTH EDITION!!!! OBR still look to be STRONK!!!
TEMPTING!🎉

Or you can shoot for underdog bonus tho granted not sure how strong those are atm
They made it so that you really don't want to take it.. a bit too much in my opinion..
Loving Dan! He is a natural in front of the cam. All the best for your move. Hoping, you find a great AoS-community at yout new place.
He is great and will be missed.
Really fun battle report. I do love the slaanesh army and mechanics.
Slaanesh have one of the most interesting mechanics in the game of the temptation dice
Katarkhan!
So many points to take both, but makes the whole army hard as nails!
Are you tempted?
Fun game!
Thank you glad you enjoyed
