Wow. Thanks for your valuable insight. Actually one should either have all 6 bulbs (higher beam, lower beam, fog lights) of same color shade. So while upgrading to LED we must change all 6 bulbs together. Hopefully, we will come up with those videos soon. Till then we have special Halogen upgrade which will provide much brighter results ua-cam.com/video/BoMIcqDvA5A/v-deo.html.
For Ciaz, the easiest access point for bulb replacement is the engine bay. The bay has a lot of space for u to easily reach ur hands in and take the bulb out. I do it almost weekly as i had a loose connection
One thing to note is don't touch the Glass on the bulb if you do touch the Glass then wash it with rubbing alcohol and dry it with a tissue to wash the oil from your hands off it or the oils will get so hot and blow the light out faster within a few minutes.... This was a very good information video thank you
Thank you for sharing such a valuable information you will definitely try to cover this in upcoming episodes thanks for watching and subscribing to smartdrive333.com
No. There are 2 things which stop us doing so. 1. Wattage of power supply to fog light is less than headlight 2. Assembly lock pattern (metal petals of bulb) of fog light is different than headlight bulb.
Yes. But please check with wattage of new bulb. More powerful the bulb more heat will be generated by it. More heat can damage the light assembly permanently.
I been using 55w 4300k Ac hid from past 3 years no issue at all in the projector :) it's plug and play dust cap we have to drill but that gets covered by hid rubber seal haven't seen moisture as well inside it can be DIY as well
Yes. But only bulb replacement may result in melting of reflector or fuse blown in case you use higher capacity bulbs. Better you get full assembly like relay + wires + reflectors/projectors + high capacity bulb/ Led.
It can be done but there is a chance of burning your wireing harness and you may have to put heavy wire in as well as a relay for the extra power I would recommend LED light bulbs to fit your car or truck it will save the headache of burning the wire healagon lights use a lot of power and get very hot it might melt the plastic lens as well...
If you are ready to change reflectors then it's possible. We suggest you to change stock fog lamps with projector fog lamps (LED) It will give you better results than 100w halogen.
If you want to melt your wireing harness sure helogon builds use a lot of power and you would need to put a relay in and add another wire to help save your wireing harness as well as melting the plastic lens and reflector and housing it the assembly don't catch fire go with LED lighting your safest bet...
@@SMARTDrive the correct way is to go in from the back. remove the wheel and plastic arch cover. that way you don't break anything or risk stuffing up the clips or scratching your paint prying out those fog light covers.
Your each and every video is very informative and helpful particularly for Ciaz owners. Thanks
glad you liked the video.

Great work sir, but why you not go for LED which is more brighter and less power consumption type 🤔

Hey, bro. Nice video. Got a question. Do I need realy set for 12v 55W fog bulb?
Not really but LED are more recomended as they consume less energy and produce better light.
One thing to note is don't touch the Glass on the bulb if you do touch the Glass then wash it with rubbing alcohol and dry it with a tissue to wash the oil from your hands off it or the oils will get so hot and blow the light out faster within a few minutes.... Bro 55w bulb use kar sakte hai kya fog lamps main
Yes but uske liye fuse aur cutout me thodi sudharna karni padegi. Agar car warranty main hai to service center pe hi changes karwaye.
Can we install main projector bulb to fog lamp .?
No. There are 2 things which stop us doing so.
1. Wattage of power supply to fog light is less than headlight
2. Assembly lock pattern (metal petals of bulb) of fog light is different than headlight bulb.
Excellent explanation, keep it up . How much does the plastic fitting cost whose snap on clips broke while opening?
Around 300 to 500.
How about for Montero sport, is it the same?
It's almost smilar for all cars. Just check the bulb specifications and grab one as per previous specs.
What's the output of the light 35w?
It's good to enlight the road but in case you have incoming traffic from front it will not be enough.
hey!!!can we replace stock projector halogen with some good high intensity/white light or LED similar one like new CIAZ!!
Yes. But please check with wattage of new bulb. More powerful the bulb more heat will be generated by it.

Boss isme dual color light lag jaata hai
Yes. LED bhi powerful laga sakte hain. Sirf aap fitting number H8 search kijiye.
@@SMARTDrive thanks

What is the socket size for ciaz fog lamp ?
H8
if i want to change the fog lights to LED should i use H11 OR H7
H7 and H11 are fitting knob patterns. If your previous bulb is H7 then ask for new LED bulb with H7 fitting only.
"Now it's time to screw" 😆😆😆

Ur purchase link shows a different product..it is showing Minda diy light nd not roots
Roots are not sold on amazon. Therefore i Gave link for Minda. Philips are too costly with same results. (Around 500).

Breaking the press points is not the usual thing! It's your unskilled attempt.
Yup. You are right. That's why it's DIY episode. Not professional one. Anyways thanks for watching
