Holy crap thanks, Im scared shitless of the ocean and seeing this and the other fauna video helped me a lot. Today a hammerhead took my starting boat and turned it upside down with 4 chests in it, and all I could do was watch and be sad. I now know how to fight back and that they are not going through the screen to get me hahahah
Even heavier materials decrease ur chance of getting flipped over like using barrels and bricks or barrels s and metal is useful. Unless you get don’t get that lucky then anything is ur best chance
One easy and pretty safe to kill abaia is by staying right next to the ship, not really deep and either throw spears at it or quicly swim towards it and poke twice. When the player stays right next to the ship there seems to be some collision bug and the boss doesnt attack
@@AnUnlikelyHero just killed the megalodon. The trick is to get on top of the half sunken boat and throw spears. Each time you hit it, he’ll jump to catch you. The trick then is to run to the other side of the capsized boat. The attacks he does are timed, every 10 seconds or so he’ll jump regardless, so it’s best to hit him, and watch him for 2-3 seconds more to know where he’ll jump from
With the game now put on Game Pass, alot more people are trying it. I for one started a new playthrough after surving 40 days and maxing the crafting ability, not realizing there was an actual endgame
@@AnUnlikelyHero yea bro! I’d also love to be able to build a raft that resembles more of a pirate ship 🚢 but I don’t even know if the game devs are touching this game anymore xD
Well, find the markers mentioned in my video, They are unique to that boss and are the only of their type in the game, but other then that you have to just keep looking around, their spawn is random. 😇
i beat lusca in water and i dont get any damage,i though beating lusca is more easier in water because they didn't used the tentacales and you can easily dodge the bite
He's right, though. The best way to fight lusca is at the bottom of the chain, not on the raft. I recommend breath boost and the speargun. The other 2 bosses are best fought from the raft with crude spears. You can hit them as they charge, causing them to retreat.
@@AnUnlikelyHero Quick question my dear friend, but my two brother wish to play this game with me, would that be allowed or is it only 2 player max? What can I do? I do everything with them and this seems like a perfect game to play with them!
i've been really on the fence about this game, but i had a chance to recently try it on another computer are the bosses fightable and the game beatable on peaceful mode or will they jsut run away when attacked making them impossible to kill?
That’s a good question. I’m actually not sure, but I wouldn’t think they would run away. They all are very aggressive and try to attack you constantly.
I think I went by the giant squid in my raft without noticing it I just found the yellow buoy and didn't know that underneath the buoy was a giant squid ready to kill me
i found abaia was easier if you swam around the destroyers conning tower using it for cover lusca i find keep moving left or right on your raft so his tentacle shots miss
If you kill abaia above the ship your spears will fall onto the deck of the ship so you can retrieve all of your spears instead of losing it all. *this only works for abaia*
Also, a great way to eliminate Abaia is to get in the water and hit it when you see it and run from it around the ship until it's starts to swim slowly
in this exact Situation so mad wasted time to kill 2 bosses and just relized we didn’t unlock both of them. Put a full stop to playing the game idk what to do was really looking forward for the joyment of beating it but with this bug it ain’t happening
Hey brother. This is a well put together video, but it's full of misinformation. I'm happy to help get the right info together with you. Cheers. Keep it up.
@@AnUnlikelyHero Happy to. Thank you for being humble about it! The endgame takes 10 servings of water and 10 servings of food. The Official wiki isn't up to date however, the fandom wiki is kept up to date. Physical Levels determine how quickly your stamina burns and how long you can hold your breath. It doesn't affect how much health you have. (Even if the in game tips states otherwise....) The size and materials used on your boat have no negative effect on your ability to beat a boss. They only attack you, not your boat. However, a 1x1 raft may get tipped by a shark while you are on your way to a boss. The refined spear does 20 damage Melee, and 40 damage thrown when you are LV0 hunting. (Max 75 damage thrown at LV7 hunting, though the coding and mathematics are inconsistent) 40 damage is twice the amount of any other weapon in the game. All three bosses are best fought at 10am, under water with a breath boost and air tank. All three have a "sweet spot" where they can't get to you. Abaia is the only boss that you can get all of your spears back from. If you make sure to time your killing blow over the shipwreck or rock formation. All bosses except lusca have a mechanic that forces them to "flee" when hit with a spear. This is exploitable. Abaias sweet spot is under the cannons or very close to an object that he will avoid. @@AnUnlikelyHero It is! And just a tip for ya. Lusca has a spot where he/she can't hit. Just swim down the chain and start spearing at it. I killed it with only 20 refined spears. And when I ran out, I just simply tried to swim next to Lusca and grab them back! That's how I did it 😂
BOSSES? as far as I know there's only 1. You the player, granted I haven't played in 2 years. But there were no bosses, simply survival, and bitching at devs, to actually let you get rescued or rescue yourself.

There is a spot on the battle ship there you can actually see the great ababia emerge, I recommend going to this spot as he cant sneak up on you
Good tip!
THE SPOT IS BELOW THE CANNON
Hope they continue updating this game. I think a roaming boss or a land boss would be really cool. Maybe have it spawn after a certain number of days.
A boss that comes after you maybe?
@@AnUnlikelyHero yeah exactly. Idk what kind of animal they could base it on though. Maybe a giant salt water crocodile.

Yes and you need to kill each of them in order to beat the game
They should add a Kraken that tracks you down after your first in game year passes 😆

There really isn’t any crafting, you just get all 3 items from the 3 bosses and then plug them into the airplane along with the fuel, water, and food.
