@Popculturecreep I was born in the mid 80s Los Angeles was different than Texas and Louisiana where I grew up. Los Angeles was ahead of us with Technology and new clothes in pop culture. Commercials were really interesting in this decade
@@mysterymidnightmurders True but inflation was much lower back then too which meant people had a lot more buying power back then. Inflation is much higher today which is also why people get paid a lot more today and which is why people have a lot less buying power today.

Do you have any 80s & 90s footage of the San Fernando Valley?
I will look ..I most likely do since i was there during that time and my dad filmed alot during Those days.

$249 in 1988 is about $650 today.
