Just turned 12 years old when this newscast aired.
RIP Roger Grimsby, Bill Beutel, Bob Miller, John Slattery, Milt Lewis & Roger Sharp. Tracy went upstate to WTEN, now retired, don't know Storm's whereabouts, but this was when the news was worth watching!

Storm Field, Born Elliott David Field, November 25, 1948 (age 75) Field was let go by WWOR in 2007 after ten years due to cutbacks at both WWOR and its sister station, WNYW, and was replaced by former WCBS weather personality Audrey Puente. October 8, 1980 (I was 8 year old at that time) I was in my 6th year in The Bronx when all this was happening. The NYCTA buses and subway cars were experiencing a Graffiti pandemic.
