I don't think dota is that good balance-wise either (although I haven't played much), but League is unironically straight ass right now. I've stopped playing because it's clear from the last few cosmetic releases that they have stopped giving a shit about the game experience and just want to milk the whales. Completely pointless to play when the characters I enjoy playing are playable into like 2 match-ups and if the enemy picks the current overtuned champ they just auto win, and there's nothing you can do (other than also picking overtuned champs).
