his fundamentals are soooo good. it's super refreshing to see high level kazuya play without any fancy 3-1 cancel wall carry tech, 5x ewgf combos, JDCR wavedash speeds, etc. Very honest gameplay, simple BnB combos, and 50/50. insane player
I main Kaz and I struggled hard to get to tenryu. It's motivating to see JoKa get to this level b/c out of all the other kaz/mishima players I watch, his play style the most similar to how I play. it's foolish of me to think that I can't achieve GOD Kazuya if I can't do all the crazy combo optimizations and execution. bravo JoKa, earned a new sub.

@@lordjuju14 I got Jin DJ and Paul to Mighty Ruler so far, struggling at Tenryu with Kaz, I thought maybe I need to learn the 3,1 cancel
But recently this video and a couple others made me realise the true weakness my Kaz has is my fundamentals; not using wr44 to punish, not being patient, not sidestepping much, not learning matchups
So I decided to apply that knowledge and now I’m a couple games away from promotion, I can maybe do 3 wavedashes and 70% successful online electrics and I can’t KBD, but I’m getting better
