The thing I love about Navigraph is that everything "just works". No problems, no headaches, incredible depth, flexibility and ergonomics whether I use my PC, my tablet, my browsers, the in-game charts, SimBrief, whatever. Navigraph truly is the "go to" company for simulator aviation charts and formal flight planning. And, it just keeps getting better. Money well spent. Thanks folks! 🛩🛩👍👍
Wow! We are so glad to read that you are enjoying our products. Thank you so much for the kind words. Be sure to testflight the amazing route in the video. Happy flying!
@@Navigraphteam Yes, good idea; I will try it. I have both those payware airports in MSFS. My first hot air balloon flight in the sim was over Concrete and the whole region is a beautiful part of the world. Many thanks for this fine video and the inspiration.
Sectionals are a great addition to Navigraph. It raises the usefulness for the sim as a PPL training tool to another level. A huge thanks Navigraph. The tutorial was well composed, covered quite a few chart related concepts, and lightly touched on identifying quite a few features found on a sectional chart; Airspace (Class C) and its floor/celing, Private airport, reading the info from the airport depiction (CTAF freq) especially the right traffic pattern for RWY 7 (RP 7), terrain and water depiction, and generally using the sectional chart for the VFR flight and dead reckoning. Well done.
Congratulations to Navigraph. Yet another leap forward for the team. These FAA Sectionals have always been an absolute treasure trove of information. So now we can have Navigraph Charts open when studying / training using the FAA handbooks. Detailed flight plans in the US will be a joy x
It’s truly an amazing time to fsim so many great features are being added to Charts atm that provide information that elevates the fsim experience to new levels. Looking forward to trying this flight very soon looks incredible. Thx for the continuing updates it’s greatly appreciated. I fly around the Hawaiian Islands quite a lot and the sectionals for this area will be so useful
Wow! Thanks for the great feedback! This flight is absolutely stunning, we truly recommend that you try it out. Just tell us if you liked the hamburger... Happy flying!
FAA sectionals are a welcome addition! Nice video too. Just FYI, (I hate to be the pedantic guy) KORS noise abatement procedures for runway 16 call for a left turn to the north-east until clear of the island. Flying south down the sound is only for poor weather or turbulence. Anacortes is pronounced with a soft "s" at the end, like the name "Tess". Skagit is a soft "g" (sounds like a "j"). Locally, I hear Sedro Woolley pronounced with both a short and long "e" ("said" vs "seed"), so I don't know which pronunciation people in town prefer!
My adult son lives in Sedro Woolley. He says the pronunciation is based upon which side of town one lives in, and there is some story which I no longer recall to explain the two pronunciations. He lives on the south side of town about 7 years or so, and says Sedro with a long "e". He also relates that some of the older long time residents may get irritated if the "wrong" pronuciation is used, depending on which camp they fall into.
Great feeback! We are happy to hear you liked the video and the FFA Sectionals. We are committed to producing videos with accurate and appropriate English pronunciation, but we face challenges in accounting for all the regional differences in speech. Specially when we record the voice over in the USA and the video is recorded and edited in Stockholm. Language is a fascinating phenomenon, thanks for pointing out its astounding variations!
Thank you! Please post your suggestion to our developers in the forum wishlist section forum.navigraph.com/c/wishlist. Many thanks for your cooperation!
Awesome question! In the near future we might have direct support for a couple of helicopters. That said, its always up to the developers to implement our product in their aircraft. If you today wish to use our charts with a helicopter we suggest you use the PMS50 integration. You can read more about this here pms50.com/msfs/aircrafts/ Happy Flying!
Awesome, need that for a long time. I have a request, can you add note pad & a pad where we can enter checklist manually by typing, so we add checkist for different aircrafts.
Hi there! We try to gather all feature suggestions and requests in the wishlist section of our forum. Please feel free to post and vote on suggestions and/or feature requests there: forum.navigraph.com/c/wishlist. Many thanks!
Forget the Charts ! I can't wait to taste that burger.............Joking aside. Looks great. Have the map in front of me and preparing the trip. Excellent feature.
Hello, I'm an unlimited NaviGraph subscriber, and I've never seen that neat ipad like device in any of my planes... what did I do wrong or missed along the way ??
Hi and many thanks for subscribing to our products. Are you refering to the pop-up iPad screens during the video? Or the screens in the cockpit? What type of aircraft do you usually fly in the simulator?
What is the correct way to create a flight plan on a sectional chart? On my first attempt, I had a dashed line (pink) from KORS to the first waypoint and another dashed line (green) from the waypoint to Mears Field. The video shows only solid magenta lines. Is the point of a sectional chart to pick waypoints that suit you and your flight? Thank you.
Hi there! You need to check Flight Mode VFR to create a VFR Flight. How to: Select Flight, Create a + New Flight. at the top of the New Flight menu, you will find General, Options and Export Select Options and check Flight Mode *VFR*
Hi! We try to gather all request in our wishlist section of the support forum. There is currently a topic for other countries such as Canada. Feel free to vote for this topic in the forum: forum.navigraph.com/t/vfr-charts-for-other-countries/14031
Hi! Currently we don’t have plans to include charts for other countries than United States, as this is the biggest market by a wide margin coupled with with well documented and easily integrated charts that are in the public domain. Adding such local charts is a pretty big undertaking for every country. We will consider adding other countries or regions in the future depending on demand. We’ll also continue to develop our own VFR charts that offer worldwide coverage. That said, feel free to post any requests in forum.navigraph.com to help guiding our future development!

Can we next get Canadian VNC (visual Navigation Charts) next??? P-p-p-pleeeeeeease. PS, locals pronounce it “Ana-cor-teese” and “Ska-jet”. :). Thanks for the vid. :). ❤

@@Navigraphteam I wouldn't worry about this too much. Unless you've lived in every location in the world, you're going to get some pronunciations wrong. As an example, I live in Louisville, KY but there is another Louisville in Colorado. Both have entirely different pronunciations. Newark, Delaware and Newark, NJ are another good example because both are pronounced totally differently. In fact, one has 2 syllables and the other only 1. By the way, this update is fantastic!

Will the charts be updated on the regular cycle as real charts are? Great video and explanation!
