- In this video, I am at a downtown pond with two good pals. The pond is CRYSTAL CLEAR and it doesn't take long to see the biggest fish in the pond. Catching it, however, took ages!
THANK YOU FOR WATCHING! PLEASE LIKE, COMMENT, AND SUBSCRIBE!!
Great technique with light line! I loved that woman's surprise reaction.
Haha glad you liked it thank you for watching!
It's so awesome to see young folks out enjoying fishing instead of on their phones! I started fly fishing in Maine when I was 7 it was great to see the young fella with a fly rod in hand! Great Video!!
Just so you know most younger people have interests other than their phones, that's just like a weird boomer misconception.
@@jeremyehr9529 annoys the heck out of me when old people say this
Absolutely super video! And no edits to remove snagging the fish. Way to go buddy!
That fish was huge!! Great catch! I always enjoy watching your videos. Thank u
In one of your old videos you used grass to catch that type of carp faster or make him bite faster. But 4lb test you looking for along fight. It was a good one though.
So enjoy you spending that time with those kids and I don't know who's teaching who at some points 🤣. That fish didn't even know it was hooked for a bit. Looked about 30. I've seen em way over fifty but never on four pound line. Caught a fifty two on ten lb once. Love this for second time around 🤠. Great vid and keep your powder dry and your pantry stocked young man 💪😎🙏
That was an absolutely massive grass carp!
Makes us look forward to the future mini Ty videos. Just like we enjoy the videos with your dad. Wouldn’t it be great to see all 3 generations fishing!
Y'all had to much fun... That's the biggest carp I've ever seen.😁
That was a great video. Good choice to reshare it Ty. Keep the videos coming man.
That was the Loch Ness Monster😯😯😯😯😯
That had to have been so stressful with the 4lb line. Awesome catch!!
That is a great video I remember it. To me these renten ponds ect have some of the biggest fish. No one fishes them. My biggest bass ever almost 12 lbs was from one. The problem with these here they don't take care of them they are almost impossible to get to alot of them the weeds are trees! Great seeing this again.
Nice video. I remember when you had less than 10,000 subs. I knew you’d do well.
Awesome video as always my friend thank you 🙏
That water is soooo clear!!!
From the good old days! He reminds me of you as well. I'm sure that trip did nothing to lessen the fishing passion in either one of you🙂 It made a great video
Well said, thanks Dad!
That’s awesome stuff! It’s cool to see you hanging out and sharing your experience with the future of our sport! Nice job on the 4lbs line
Love that you catch & release. Heck, all the fun is in catching them anyway. 🐟
🔥🔥🔥
Thank you for watching!!
I've had many different experiences with the grass carp in Southern California in this set of 2 lakes in the same neighborhood, they're both called Woodbridge but one is called North Lake and the other, South lake. Most of the time they wouldn't fight at all really, the only time they'd put up a fight whatsoever is when you try to bring them on land and they pull drag for a couple seconds and then you just drag em back to the shore line. occasionally we'd (me or one of my buddies) one that fought like hell but 75% to 90% of the Grass carp that I've ever caught was like pulling in a rock. usually it was the giant grasscarp that didn't put up a fight at all, the medium sized ones either didn't fight at all or just a little bit but the juveniles definitely always put up a fight. I understand that in other places like Texas which is where I'm living right now it's cool to catch a grass carp but when I was in Southern California the grass car is a trash fish that you pray you don't have. the 2 lakes I'm talking about also had some Koi but not a bunch and we would catch one every blue moon, they were the opposite of the grass carp, 75% to 90% of the Koi fought like a Yellowtail but occasionally there'd be the oddball that'd just play dead basically
I wish we had some ponds like that around here. That’s some beautiful blue water. Great job catching that carp. 4 lb line
She's a beauty for sure!
Great carp, Ty. Gotta know where you caught it. Just kidding! Didn't catch what your bait was though. Great video!
Nice
So awesome man glad to see this video again.
I love your videos so much dude you are my inspiration to go out fishing even though I don’t catch much it is my favorite thing to do. Keep it up man!
That is awesome! Thank you so much!!
Another geaud Vidya ☺️
Hey Ty, how about coming to Arkansas and trying out lake Ouachita. I have fished it since I was 5 and I'm 49 . Would love to meet up with you there.
You may not be a very big youtuber but I think you are definitely an underrated youtuber. Ty your channel is one of my top favorite fishing channels. You not only create amazing content but you share your knowledge. To me that means more than anything else other channels are doing to get subscribers. Watching your videos motivates me to become a better angler. Keep up the great work 💪
This is the next river monster season!
Tips for casting light lures on baitcaster? 3g spoons preferably
That young dude is on point
Great video as always Ty wow
Nice grass carp (Amur) Ty. They do sometimes grow over 100lb in the right conditions.
The world record ever caught was 87 lbs in Bulgaria
@@jordonpratt2604 The Piasuchnik fish was just an All-Tackle record. The species have been caught in nets and longlines exceeding 100lb. The Marmur carp/Bighead carp (Hypophthalmichthys nobilis) can exceed 200lb. The rod caught record is 170lb+.
@@Globetrotter-1 good thing we aren’t talking about big head carp because it’s a different kind of fish
@@jordonpratt2604 That's obvious. 🙄 I said Grass carp/white Amur (Ctenopharyngodon idella) and their max weight.
@@Globetrotter-1 I’m just telling you what I read, the max they can get and ever recorded anywhere on earth is 4.7 feet and 94lbs
Huge catch ty. Thank you for sharing ty
Beautiful, beautiful water.
I remember seeing this one. It's still awesome!
This video is so wholesome and awesome.
When my oldest son was little, he hooked into a 21 pound common carp on a kid’s Batman fishing pole. I got to land it. I was surprised I got it in.
Crazy ultra light catch, sir did you forget Annette
Yea, I remember that one!
I love this kid…😂
Caught a big common and a big grassie on the same day. The common wore itself completely out on 4lb making run after run. The grassie didn't fight as hard, until I tried to land it. I think by the fourth attempt it was tired enough to get it landed. They're quite different.
"Catching Giant Grass Carp in Gatorade Pond"

Beautiful dude, well done!

The tail on that fish was Huge. The water in the lake looks like it is dyed!😂
💜🎣
You should do another collaboration with the kid!
A fish that has no reason to eat any lure. Nicely done
👍😎
Cool kids... learning about fishing..even teaching...fish was about as big as he was...
Damn that was three years ago I remember this video.
Thanks Ty, that was awesome. So what is he, like 18 years old now?

I hooked around a 30 something pound carp in a pond on 6lb test fought it for an hour then it came unhooked. That was probably 10 years ago never went bk there since
I miss the Ty and animal bro duo videos you guys caught some giants together
primo fresh water bonefish sight casting
I can't believe you said 80,000 subscribers in this video 😄 I've been watching since way before this video came out and I almost forgot how far you have come along. You always catch incredible fish which is why you're the best youtube fisherman out there, keep it up!
There's a city pond where I live that is spring fed crystal clear full of what look to be 4 foot or so long carp. Think about trying to catch one but never try
I remember this video that carp was a Tank
In South Africa they get up yo 50lb in our rivers
Hey Ty ! do they dye that water it so blue ?

La pêche en baignoire
Can you say "Bluegill"? 🤣🤣🤣
Where did u catch that fish!?
I caught one like that in Nebraska on 2 lb test…….2 hour fight but I won the battle……and don’t mind the haters Ty
Hey brother
If you ever want to know of a secret pond in Austin full of 30 lb goldfish, I know a secret one. No one knows it’s even got fish in it. I don’t live there anymore so can’t fish it.
do you have a code for kast king
KOI can be with thousands at that size
She was out of water way too long. That was close
MONSTER, HUGE, INSAINE, BIG, LARGE, WOAH, MY, MONSTER, INSAINE, BIG, INSAINE

Isn't that an invasive species?
"I am not a big UA-camr by any means..."
Honestly I’m for you guys fishing but I believe you should leave the pond fish alone
This must be an old video. 80k .. lol u got 400k now lol awesome tho bro. Cool video. I just added u on Facebook. I'm cool man I can put you on some crazy spots hmu sometime I live in tx too 💪🤙🤙
Can catch 50 lb fish on 4lb line.... that's why kids can lift full grown adults in swimming pools with ease.
Let the kid have fun. Wouldn't be talking to him like that in front of me.
