Ok, the recipes look delish and amazing, can’t wait to try them! But also, the editing on this video was superb!! The lighting, the angles, all of it!! Plus, I love that it feels so professional while still being relatable with the “oopsies” left in and the “messy” counters, because these are things that actually happen when you cook! Love this video so much!! ❤
Thank you so much for this. It really means the world to us because we put so much into these videos! Alex is an incredibly talented at making these mini movies!
I was thinking the same thing! Love all the little funny comments as well guessing that’s Alex’s work!
@@MadeleineOlivia yesssssssssssss really talented both of you. specially in this video , divine.
Definitely burrito is what to call ingredients rolled into a flour tortilla!! It does literally mean “little donkey” in Spanish, and growing up we thought they were called that because the could “carry” anything!
My family never added rice to our burritos. Then a taqueria in mission district started making the giant burritos with rice most of the world is now familiar with, we still don’t like burritos with rice, lol!
My go to breakfast burrito: tofu scramble, leftover potato, vegan breakfast sausage, avocado and salsa- yum!
Agreed, rice in burritos is not traditional where I'm from either(San Diego). I prefer them without--it's just filler!
Sweet and sour tofu: For those who are no sugar like me, you can replace the brown sugar with a quarter of a cup of unsweetened apple sauce(the one without cinnamon) . It tastes lovely, works like a charm.
Thank you! :)
I am OBESSESSED with your satay Tofu Curry i make it all the time its my favourite dinner ever 😍😍
I love thecwibbly wobbly 'blend'
Everything looks amazing!!! So inspiring!

Love all these recipes. Cant wait to try. One of our weekly favourites is your Puff Pastry Vegetable Turnovers using all the remaining veg. Such a great and tasty snack! Thankyou Maddie, we're all eating more healthy food because of you and my digestive system is thanking you too x
All looks super yummy! High quality editing without being overly slick. You've done so well at retaining the personality as you grow and become more professional. Great job all round :)
I wanted to comment as I have just made the sweet and sours recipe and I can confirm it is extremely tasty! Absolutely excelled my expectations! Definitely would recommend and will be a new go to for me !
Hi, I made the sweet and sour tofu last night really enjoyed it and had the leftovers in a wrap for lunch today , will definitely be making this again, Thanks
That salad looks like something I'll make every week in the summer when it's too hot to eat warm food 🤤

All looked delicious!
Madeleine - thank you so so much for your delicious full recipe videos on youtube! I made the red pepper pasta (5 times now) and its my weekly go to! Im going to try the satay curry this week! Cant wait :)
Wonderfully inspiring recipes! I love the look of the red pepper pasta. I have some cream cheese that needs using up so might try that instead of coconut cream, and let it out with a little more stock. Thanks for the inspiration as always!
love the squiggly "and blend" at 8:12 - made me smile :)
Really liked the ideas!
Just made the tofu satay curry and it was delicious. For some extra protein and creaminess I blended silken tofu in with the aromatics and it worked great
Good Wednesday morning Madeleine. That looks absolutely delicious. Just like you, I like to start the day with a healthy vegan burrito. Thanks for sharing. 😊😁
your videos are like coming home on an autumn evening, so incredibly cozy.
This is the loveliest comment!
Fantastic video thank you
Many thanks for these recipes - I struggle to feed my vegan son interesting dishes when he comes to stay and these are perfect.
Also please promote your e-books more 😂 I have all three and they're amazing...everyone needs them!!
Love these recipes, my fav being the noodle salad. I have to laugh every time you use your crazy garlic press! 🤣 There is always a rogue bit that flies onto your bench 😂 💕

Yum 🤤 I want to try these! x
These recipes look very nice I will be making the sweet and sour tofu first I think, but they all look great , I too like your pyff pastry parcels I've Made them twice now so thanks for some lovely meals
Im not even vegan but watching this while feeling hungry all of it looks so tasty!!! I do want to incorporate more plants in my diet though and I love the way you put your meals together :)
Love that dress!! Where did you buy it? Thank you 😘
Hi , always wondered where you got the garlic press from? Love how it scrapes over instead of using a knife like I do !! Love your videos❤
Just stumbled upon your channel; love the recipes & can’t wait to try. What type of tofu do you use, soft or firm, or did it vary in each of your recipes shown? Thank you from across the pond (NYC)😀
Recipes look very good! Will try some of them this month or later for sure!
Comment on the sweet and sour stir-fry: I've made a similar recipe by Pick up Limes and they use the pineapple juice for the sauce if you use canned pineapple and I would highly recommend that! Then you're not stuck with leftover juice and you can add less sugar to the sauce :)
When I make Asian-inspired tofu I usually go for teriyaki or Hoisin and I have never made it in a sweet and sour sauce - what a mistake on my part, it sounds amazing! I also love using corn flour (or potato strach, it probably works even better for me) method for frying it - it's the best, even my non-vegan family likes it!
It is a burrito they don’t need to have rice it’s just a tortilla filled with delish ingredientes and there u have it a yummy burrito 😋 can’t wait to try! Mexican food is my absolute favorite and the burrito looks a-mazing 🎉 Thanks for sharing and Happy New Year
Loves it babe
Hi I have tried the sweet & sour tofu. It was delicious.
Had a long day, so making the pasta dish tonight. Already have all the ingredients in the pantry. Big bowl of pasta is definitely needed on a wet and rainy day like today……Bliss.
Was that a welsh springer spaniel? I used to have one, she sadly passed away last summer. Your dog is absolutely adorable
Ohh I cannot wait to try that burrito 😋
perfect ❤
Literally did the first recipe now!
Awww yay! Hope you loved it!
Yummy recipes
😋 😋 delicious!
Looks so delicious! You wear such beautiful dresses, can you let us know where they're from?
love your videos and that dress... so cute!
I think I will be trying a few of these. Maybe substitute cauliflower for the tofu in the satay recipe. Satay is one of my favourites.
Roxie at the end! 😊❤️😍🐶
Oh my gosh all of this looks amazing 🤤🤤
Maddie, you could remake all your old recipe videos & it would be amazing. I think a lot of people would love to see the classic student meals, 3 ingredients etc ..just an idea.
It'd save you making loads more recipes if you didn't want to, plus newer subscribers might not have seen them
Loving the recipes! Was worried about your beautiful dresses being splashed during prep & cooking. I know aprons are seen as a little outdated these days, but have you ever thought about designing one for your channel?
Thank you so so so much Madeleine for giving this recipe because I will definitely try this recipe and I love your vlogs so so much and I wish you reach 600K Subscribers very very soon!✨☺️❤️
Regarding the curry: tofu is SO MUCH better in a curry when torn apart into pieces apposed to chopped. Absorbs more flavor and has a nicer texture!
You’ve pulled an Alex and forgotten to put on your wedding band. Lol!
Hi Madeleine
I’ve just gone back to being a vegetarian after a long while and I’m loving your recipes. Can I ask where your cream cooking pots are from and if they are cast iron? Looking for some good pots to cook in as I’ve just changed from gas hob to induction hob and need new pans. Thanks again for the lovely videos and for the none judgement too. Very refreshing. 😊❤
I think they’re Le Creuset cast iron pots but Sainsburys (Habitat) do cream cast iron casserole pots and stock pots for a fraction of the price and they’re really good. I’ve got both brands. If Le Creuset is not budget friendly to you then the Habitat ones are a great alternative.
For the sweet and sour tofu recipe can I skip the vinegar if I hate it?
plants ftw
Let's start a veguary slogan for Feb !
Now I don't want to go to our dinner invite! I want to stay home and make all these TONIGHT! 😉
Are the jarred red peppers in vinegar, water or oil? Where I come from I can only get vinegar ones.
Which brand of firm tofu do you use?
🥰
14:18 aiyah no need to rinse ! 😅😅
Can you eat both of those wraps??? (Second recipe) it's a lot....
Everyone’s appetite is different so eat what is suitable for you!
Thanks for the wonderful video! Wonderful recipes. But can I just disagree with you a bit...Non stick pans are not great for the environment. Many use harmful chemicals and only last for 2-7 years typically. It's so much better to get a nice cast-iron set and season them properly. Truly It's a Wonderful cooking experience, three of my cast iron pans belonged to my great-grandmother. Not trying to be preachy though. Just more zero waste. I also realize not everyone can cook using cast iron because they don't need the extra iron that they could get in their diet. As someone who is anemic and always needs extra iron this isn't a problem for me.
These are incredibly tasty recipes but..How peppers and tomatoes are supposed to be considered a sustainable food in wintertime?!? They're summer vegetables.
Not to mention avocadoes...
lol you say paprika weird for a Brit
😕
There is just one recipe without soy in it. 😭
You can swap the tofu or soy for beans or legumes xx
Nope, burritos do not have to have rice to be called that! The most famous and cheap burrito in the USA is a cheese and bean burrito. See? no rice whatsoever. To be called a burrito the filling is wrapped in a flour tortilla and that's it!
The recipes all looked very yum, but SIX ads in a fifteen minute video? Come on....
Stop adding sugar to your food. It's so bad for you and unnecessary
