My issue here is obviously 2 people. Juggernaut and Apocalypse. Marko isnt a mutant and im not cool with nimrod using magic. His advanced tech should work on most characters but im not down with magic sentinel.
Second I think Apocalypse once again looks like shit for his abilities. The celestial tech should be far more advanced than Nimrod and his mutant powers should be nearly impossible to counter.
Nimrod should solo whole teams but these two im not down with.
Given some Mutants X gene grants them access to magic, I think Nimrods design had to take its properties into account somehow. It's not unheard of that scientific characters beating magic ones in marvels anyhow. As for apocalypse, Nimrod is supposed to be made from the most advanced technology of its timeline right? That might even include stuff akin to stuff richards and doom has made to content with the power cosmic, I don't think it's out of the question Nimrod would've had the chance to assess celestial tech.
Still, the Juggernaut and celestials Jobbing unfortunate streak isn't to be ignored either hmmmmmgh.
it's cool to think that humans eventually do reach a level that can compete on that level, but i see what you mean .. especially regarding the Juggernaut

I'm also not fine with Nimrod making jokes and quips. He should be a cold, calculating machine. "Can I drop in?" "No need to be rude" "I already apologized for that!" - c'mon. Much prefer the Nimrod writing of the 80s. And he definitely should not have access to magic - that's just lazy. In the 80s when he beat Juggs, he had to come up with a scientific solution like a sonic beam, which made sense, as Juggs does need to hear, so sound goes through his forcefield.
@mayssm Couldn't agree more. I'm actually fine with him not talking unless he's making commands. What need does he have to quip? Every character needs to be Spiderman because Bendis started a trend that won't die.
Nimrod’s out here casually obliterating most of the mutants and easily nullifying their powers, though I am a bit confused as to how he managed to effortlessly beat Juggernaut, knowing Cain is Cytorrak’s personal tool.
So he redirected him instead of stopping him? I know he can’t be stopped once he gains momentum, but that seemed too easy.

I thought Juggernaut had this in the strength and durability department.
Nimrod is badass. But Magneto almost beat him and Omega at the same time. He only lost because Omega used a power dampener device against Magneto when he was about to win.

Lots of thoughts, since Nimrod is quite a powerful character.
1) Nimrod has a personality?! I thought he was just a cold Sentinel with advanced tech
2) Yes, Iceman was injected with napalm. But he technically cannot die, correct? Water vapor makes him live, unless molecular manipulation, magic, or cosmic energy
3) Apocalypse should have given more of a fight with his advanced Celestial tech, yes?
4) Jobbernaut. The momentum and force field should have applied here, but writers ignore Juggs’ powers.

Endless plot armor, but I never enjoy when they nerf Apocalypse.

Thanks for posting this. Honestly bad writing on how everything at a random party lined up juuust right to quickly take out the omegas. Bobby’s later resurrection was even lamer.
But Juggernaut fared the worst. Just as he’s got a head of steam and is running at nimrod, he gets blasted and not only stopped but blasted backward toward the building he came from. Then his power remembers to work and he destroys the building…
Dude, the absolute disdain with which Juggernaut was treated is so bad. This was not a good look 😅

Damn! The hype behind nimrod was impressive enough but seeing him in action's a real treat! A lot more cavalier and cheeky than I thought he'd act but no less terrifying for it! The adapting sentinels are always the funnest!

Apocalypse has thousands of powers, why didn't he turn to something else, why didn't he grow a thousand feet tall or manipulate his matter to make himself too hard to damage. How TF did he beat juggernauts brain in? The helmet is literally for show, he's magic. Jean was right there but let juggernaut get beaten to death? Not the best writing.
I don't care what the current comic books says Nimrod killed Apocalypse. There's no way a robot can kill Apocalypse with his powers and his Celestial Armor. Even Thor axe Stormbreaker couldn't pierce Celestial Armor.
Hard to believe considering it's human tech vs Apocalypse's celestial tech and the mystical force of the juggernaut. Comics will be comics.

Wolverine should be respected by every marvel fan, because he's a legend and he suffered a lot, there's no any marvel mutant that will survive the injuries logan has been through, if it wasn' because of his healing abilities Wolverine would have died a long time ago, and the only thing I like about Wolverine is that he's not a talkative person, he just goes straight to the fight, and btw mad respect to iceman for putting up a hell of a fight, he's so underrated but people never realize how strong he is,

So if he can easily beat Apocalypse he can easily defeat Thanos? Makes no sense. If he’s this powerful, why all the plotting and scheming, he just kills all the mutants because the writers made him that powerful 🙄.

Juggs and Apocalypse getting solo'd by Nimrod? No, just no. And magic use is really stretching his adaptive programming. Unless he's become fully sentient, aka has a soul, this shouldn't be possible. A question I've always posed since Ultron got the Infinity stones.

The most galling thing to me in this comic is Apocalypse, the antithesis of Charles Xavier and his dream, is now an X-Man because the contemporary X-Men have "realized" Apocalypse's ideology.
The second most galling thing to me is Nimrod, the Terminator-esk time-traveling future murderbot, quipping in Buffy the Vampire Slayer dialogue. It's apparently all these writers know how to write.
In that brief panel showing Mr. Sinister, he looks like he's LARPing as Asmongold.
Personally, the only upside of this book is Nimrod wrecking the X-Men's umpteenth "fashion ball" and killing all the fanfic X-Men, even if they are just going to be resurrected right back.

@@FernandoComicsOfficialMy 12 year old nephew came up watching the 90s X-Men and Spider-Man cartoons during the pandemic. It was a great point in that crappy time.
He would watch an episode of one of them and ask me about the comics they were based on. We would swing by the LCS his dad, our older brother and me used to go to when I was his age and pick up some of those back issues or order them from eBay.
Slowly he lost interest in the Marvel cartoons/ comics and developed a taste for Naruto and Dragon Ball Z.
I showed him this vid today. He was confused that Apocalypse was helping the X-Men. When 1:32 hit, he asked, "THAT'S the X-Men now?!" They were unrecognizable to him.

They're all OP at this point. Every single original X-Men and the whole 2nd Gen X-Men team have been designated as Omega-level mutants over the years. I prefer my heroes to have limitations & weaknesses. The moment they no longer have them, they become as boring as Superman. However, I think Batman is the most OP hero at DC. His plot armor could survive a 1-2 punch by Doomsday. "He can win any battle given enough prep time." Puh-Lease.
Let the x-men live in peace: challenge so IMPOSSIBLE, they can’t even change the timeline after a dozen time shifts 😭 that’s what you call a plot guillotine.

Written right, any team can be great. My favorite Marvel team of all time was the Avengers when it was just Cap, Hawkeye, Scarlet Witch, & Quicksilver. A close 2nd was the 90s Avengers with Black Knight & Black Widow as the co-captains of the team. One of my favorite X-Men stories of all time was "Charge of the Light Brigade," where Rogue, Dazzler, Longshot, and Psylocke are cornered and have no other choice but to fight Juggernaut. I love the stories that show where brains & teamwork get the job done over sheer brute force & powers.
My favourite moment in the entire Krakoa era. The X-Men finally getting their comeuppance for all the BS they've pulled since this started.
I am not sure what are the readers supposed to get from Nimrods fight with Ice man. He is way too strong and way too weak at the same time. Like, how the hell does he punch so hard in his regular, not enlarged form? Even if the explanation is that he blasted him with ice, still... This much damage from being hit with a wave of ice beam, or whatever he does right now, doesn't make sense. It seems like they wanted Ice man to represent how powerful omega mutants are but either didn't have time or imagination to do so, so they settled with, yeah he just uses close combat move and for some reason its super effective.
Is this a latest issue my friend? I would love to see thor and hulk help the xmen and beat the crap out of nimrod

Dude, this is such BS. First, Apocalypse owns Nimrod. Second, Juggernaut stopped WWH! WWH had to use trickery to get out of that fight! Then, Juggernaut has an impenetrable force field on top of his strength and momentum! Who is writing this crap?! Seriously!
