    Outstanding work! My blood pressure skyrocketed when you turned down the fairway and saw how tight it was.

    Good Job! Always nice to watch a Captain that has a command over their vessel. I was looking at the winds in the flags and banners on your final approach and was thinking ohhh its gonna be tough with a stern in starboard side tie. You executed nicely!

    Nice job! That fairway sure looked tight to me. I have a 34' Sea Ray in Huron and love to cruise over to Kellys Island.

      Thanks! Was a little tight and the wind didn't help with the fly bridge but we got her in there lol

    No fenders out, no dock lines ready, come on Cap. Probably lucky there was no other boat in the slip. Good job on letting the wind push you into the dock.

      We had a stern line an Mid ship line already tied and the wife took care of throwing those lines, I don't worry about fenders until I get tied, Never crashed or hit anyone yet knock on wood lol

      @@chaddalenberg Good job. Portside is one of my least favorite marinas. Narrow fairways and wave motion causing rocky nights. After a number of rocky nights and difficult departures, I started using the Seaway marina. For a 31 ft sailboat it is a much better solution. But my real favorite is to anchor overnight on the north side of the island. Hope your winter is tolerable before getting back on the water in May.

    I have a 34 Sundancer at SYC. Always fun when it's nice and tight at Portside!

    Nice job. That's why we always go to Seaway.

    That’s how it’s done SLOWLY just clutches. Little to no wind helps.

    Don’t understand why you’re complaining. The other vessel has the right of way. Better brush up on your sea navigation captain

      @ScottStansley not sure what your talking about but ok captain

      Agree - Pursuit has right of way so as long as he's holding his course then nothing to complain about

    • @chaddalenberg
      @chaddalenberg  3 місяці тому

      @@xabeque8 there are 2 marinas side by side, the pursuit was going in to the other marina, not where I was heading so not sure what right away you are referring too. Thanks.

      the other vessel was going to the neighboring marina, not where I was heading. Thanks tho.
