The Watercress Line "Service 2" - 27/7/18

My first visit to the MHR in quite a while saw the Ivatt 2MT tank 41312 and BR Std 9F 92212 in service, operating the Standard Service 2 timetable. In this short video, the pair of engines can be seen working over the line on a - mercifully - overcast and slightly cooler day.

I visited on 24th when Cheltenhan was running. fine looking loco. running with 41312 due to 45379 being out of service. I got to go into the Sheds to visit 45379

Great video as ever mate. Enjoyed watching. Im surprised the watercress didnt go with a steam ban along with alot of other line given the gradients and how hard the locos are working.

Thanks man. I don't know what their strategy is to keep lineside fires to a minimum, but it seems to work.
