While I always had an appreciation for his work and dealing with all the other crazy drivers out there, I gained a new found respect for the industry when we started pulling an rv a couple of years ago. 😂
Hope that you are feeling better. I am the opposite when it comes to flying. Over 2 million miles with United and for many years I averaged 200+ segments per year. I have not flown for the past two years due to a promotion (all remote), however I want to get back to flying for work. Travel safe and hope to see you out on the road.

Cody is impressive, but in the Trucking world, you tell drivers to back as little as possible, due to the crash risk. It’s a valid thing to worry about! 😊
I worked in Quality in aviation for 35 years until I retire 2 years ago, flying is much safer that all other forms of transportation. Much safer than having 15K lbs chasing you down the highway🙂
I’m with you Cody…I would rather unclog a clog toilet then fly. I’ve probably flown 50 times but haven’t flown in 15 years. I don’t trust the Pilots, mechanics and now the planes. My wife wants to take a trip to the Bahamas in a few years but I’m fighting it. We are not full time but have about 10 trips planned this year…our first is to Shenandoah National park. Can’t wait! Looked like a scene from Home Alone Angela.
I’m exhausted after flying! I stay so anxious, that I feel like I haven’t slept in weeks! Ha! I survived though. The Bahamas would at least be a good destination, as a reward! 😊
Always nerve racking when your driving to a new campsite...............our very first trip was a NIGHTMARE where we went through a SMALL subdivision and ended up going down a long long LONG driveway where we had to turn around at their garage!!!! Did I mention............It was our FIRST trip in the RV LOL!!!! ahhhhhhhhhhh the memories!!!
We used to enjoy flying, but as we have gotten older and tsa procedures have changed we avoid flying. We love Delta though! Furbabies love it when Dad comes home! Feel better!

As a over the road trucker, That gps has gotten me screwed up more than a few times. Atleast cody had you to help him back down the street. i had to back my 18 wheeler down many of streets alone. Where were you when i needed you ang!! lol
I’ve spent many many nights in hotels over the years. Enough so, I earned lifetime Hilton Diamond Elite status. One year I stayed 180 nights in hotel rooms. I love being retired….No more overnight travel for me. Hope you guys feel better soon.
Don’t blame you! The first year, we practically lived in hotels and apartments more than our house. I don’t think people realize the toll it can take on you. Plus, having a consistent place for the dogs to be, is HUGE!
I imagine areas like that, never stop developing. This is the second time we have visited nearby and haven't really explored. Maybe our third visit will be the charm! :) Thanks for watching!
You guys are fun. We are in Cypress, Harris County right now. Our brand new Grand Design is in the shop for warranty work for the fourth time in 8 months, so we are staying in Houston with the in-laws. Gotta love the highways and traffic here.
I’m with you Cody on flying. Since we’re full-time, but my husband still works remotely. When he has to fly, I could go with him, but I’d rather stay back with the RV and the dog.
I love yall's videos. It is so clear how much yall love each other and love being with each other. Houston traffic is so bad all the time. I used to work for Delta and got to fly free and hardly did it because I do not like to fly. Now we fly to Alaska to see the kids and grandkids and I get so nervous. We store our RV there in the Houston area when we fly to Alaska.
I feel your pain with flying! Last time I had to fly somewhere I chickened out. Found out Amtrak went where I needed to go and booked a sleeper car. It was awesome!! It obviously took longer and was more expensive as I booked last minute, but I was so relaxed when I got to my destination. The train ride was the most exciting part of my trip!
I agree Cody, my previous job, I flew all over North America almost every week and in and out of MSP and Kansas City all the time, now I'm no longer flying unless absolutely needed! Kim knows the time away all too well!!! Ya'll get well soon!

I definitely prefer RV travel over air travel. I have a sock box as well! I travel quite a bit for work and I wish they would let me take my RV on work trips.

We apparently grabbed the wrong stuff out of storage to hold on to! 😂😂 His shirt had stains and his jacket had a hole and was too big. Poor guy! 🤣
