I want to make one thing clear about my motorcycle review/first ride videos... My intent with reviewing is NOT as a track rider, NOT as an expert, but as your everyday motorcycle enthusiast/rider excited to ride something new. If you'd like more technical reviews there are plenty of other UA-camrs who do them.

The Daytona's are amazing. I have an 09 675 modded out and as of May, the proud new owner of a 2020 Limited Edition Daytona 765 Moto 2. Best bikes I've ever ridden. Nothing else like them.

I had just a 1 hour ride on the new model. I didn't see any benefits to my H67 model. What would you say? Is the 765 that much more of a sports bike then the 675?

The “poppie” better than other 600cc that you feel is the triple cilinder. Perfect compromise between torque and weight. Adding the beautiifuuuull triple sound 😻
I bought the first gen 2007 Daytona 675 4 years ago and I absolutely love it. It’s such a fun bike to ride with plenty of power low down when you need it and handles sooo good!

Daytonas are one of the best looking bikes imo.
I just rode my first Daytona and it was a 765! Yes, it is wonderful, indeed - completely blown away, I am!

I have a '14 and it was my first real bike. Riding in that position definitely strengthens your core. Perfect bike for a weekend sesh on the backroads

I have that exact same year bike (2016 675r) that I won from 650ib. I have been going to the track with it the past couple of months. It does not have traction control and its costly to add due to the ecu. Getting suspension setup gives it even a better ride. I have a full titanium exhaust on mine. Glad you enjoy it.

I have an 18 s1000rr, 14 Daytona 675r, and a 2020 Street bob, and the last two bikes give me smiles everytime I ride them. So much so that I'm gonna sell the bmw.
I used to ride 2013 Triumph Daytona 675R and absolutely loved it. Absolutely nothing negative to say about these bikes Triumph definitely struck gold with this 675R 👌🏻
The only aspect., at least in the 2014 model, are the mediocre brakes for a sports bike, they are fine if you use the bike for "soft" rides but not suitable for a sporty use. Apart from the braking system who Is "meh " for a sport bike overalls it's a validi bike and very fun to ride
hey kat! do you think this is a good introductory sport bike for a guy who rides cruisers? i'm just worried i won't be ready for something with a lot of horsepower. i tend to go heavy on the throttle (so says every bike rider. lol).
I definitely own one if I got into motorcycles. Yammie Noob inspiring words got me hooked to it. I'd buy that and a smaller cc bike 250-400cc to fully build with forged racing parts and top-end bolt-on to see what its full potential would be.
Great Video and Bike, it is one of the Best 600CC but like you said its really hard to get one.
Last winter I was in Dubai and I found one for sale but it was around 9K and for the same price you can get a new 600CC but nothing like this Beast.

With the Trident 660 out (with a triple engine), I'm hoping a new Daytona 660 will be on the horizon.
I owned a 2003 955i Daytona, but the 675R is just such a better bike. Currently on a street triple 765RS as my back can't take the Daytona seating position for more than 30 or 40 minutes.
Triumph needs to get cracking on the 765 Daytona for general release.
Very nice bike. My son has one. Unfortunately for me I’m to short to ride it. But it’s probably a good thing for him because he won’t get it back... ride safe.. keep up the good videos.

Sweet bike. It's not my kind of ride, I prefer touring bikes like my Goldwing, but I must admit that Daytona is a real looker.
So what was easy about or as an example what bike is not easy? And is the shifter stock or?
I´m glad I had the chance to buy one of the 675R H67 (2014). I will never sell it again. When I´m to old to ride it, i put it in my living room 😍I also drove the new 765 model. If you own a H67 save your money it was really disappointing in comparison to the H67.

is a quickshifter standard in that year model?
I have a 2017 Daytona 675, not the R as, I realised it made no difference on the road at least, so opted for saving the money on the ohlins as wasn't necessary. I actually nearly bought a 765 Moto 2, but again decided against due to the digital screen set up, the worry of the carbon panels, the extra insurance cost & of course double the price, for a bike that would give not much more than 10% enjoyment over the 675. I'm happy with my choice so far, just put some new Michelin tyres on it.
hows the reliability on it though ? any long term report ?

The chase car camera perspective was a nice change of pace. Can you get Alex to quit riding and become a Lexus seat cover / tripod full time? Maybe have your drone follow you? Endless possibilities. Enjoyed the video, always hear positive things about the Daytona.
Imma need a supercharger to keep up

I'm torn between getting an r6 or a 675r... can anyone comment to which one would be a better choice for street and fun riding? I've heard the r6 is more comfortable than the daytona and while I realize they are race bikes, if that's true and the daytona is just unbearable to use and be on then I would choose the r6. Can anyone comment on which is better?

I've had bikes most of my life. Please get some leather trousers, or at least armoured trousers. If you have an off on a bike at speed it will leave you terribly scarred from road rash. Anyone young following you may think cut jeans is a look - please set an example in this.

God how i miss mine :-/ The $1600 annual insurance fee got a bit much, the Ninja 1000 i ride now is less than half that (and about half as exciting)

What’s the price on this bike?
I love my 675 but I’m 5’9” 250 and it’s feels like a kids toy under me. Fun in the turns but a chore to ride on the highway.
would u say the height or the weight is the problem? i am 6.1 and 190 lbs, i really would love to own this bike
@@Klvierdaninho97 your height might be a limiting factor but you should be fine with some adjustable rearsets and clip ons if you’re limber enough.
This bike has one of the best torque curve

The only daytona that has traction control is the one that costs $18,000, the 2020 765 version.

JWG if you are a beginner I wouldn't get either of the ones those 2 say... Those bikes are for seasoned riders... It depends on what kind of riding you want to do and how big you are... I wouldn't get anything bigger than a 636 to be a starter bike... Just my thoughts... Idk how seasoned of a rider you are... Sorry if you thank I'm butting in... Good luck...

I don't understand why Triumph don't make another Daytona they have that Moto2 bike and it looks amazing but it's only limited edition.
Plus no rear seat, and super premium price, they probably look at how they are not selling out and think why make another one but that’s why they are not selling is because a couple can’t ride together plus it’s more expensive than an r1
