Would have to see the specs on the 765. The 765 Street Fighter has less peak hp than the 675 Daytona . They gave up about 2000 rpm when they went to the bigger motor. By their own specs, they have the 765 R at 122 hp and the 2016 Daytona at 128 hp. My 675 , with a combination of more power and plastic for wind resistance, was faster in the desert. 149 mph for the 675 and 138 mph for the 765.
Note: the suspension is set a bit soft for the rough surface of Palomar. I like 30 to 35 mm in the front and 30 in the back. I weigh about 50 Lbs more than PetroHead. Would have taken some preload off the front, but this was a last minute event.
I used to be a Daytona 675R rider few years ago now and absolutely loved the bike what a machine 👌. It’s absolutely middleweight supersport number 1 no other comes close especially with all the premium parts bolted on 🔥🔥 Adam 🇬🇧

May I ask... how would you compare the 675r to your R6? Considering buying a 2020 R6, or a 2015 675r (very low mileage, still like new, and a few thousand less than the R6). What one would you recommend, and why? (Just to be used for the odd day trip, backroads riding, and maybe a few track days)... thanks
I bought the R6 because quite frankly, it’s the best 600 race bike (there, I said it) but I’d buy a Daytona 675r in a heartbeat in addition to R6 If I could (financially and storage wise) Buy the Daytona.. it’s a fantastic race and road bike.
@@PetroHead yea sorry. I mean throttle control. I have a hard time with my throttle. Im not progressive and tend to be jerky. Also braking, I can’t seem to brake progressively with the front brakes. One last thing is being too stiff on the motorcycle. I tend to get too stiff and not be moving as much as I should. I took the basic msf course but they didn’t help me as much as I thought they would.

@Rude Dog.. at big willow, I got to 151 mph on the straight and had to brake. My modified R6 now weighs 395 wet and with QS and auto blip, no other 600 can touch it. At willow I was taking on liter bikes and passing them like they were standing still.
