I did not realize all of the things this vacuum could do! You have a very good ability to teach! I have had it for almost two years, and it still has a LOT of power. This machine does hardwood and tile very well, just make sure you press the little green "brush" button on the left side of the wand base ("wand realease"), just across from the red power button, which is on the right side of the wand base. It's also very light, so if for any reason you should not be able to reach a super high spot, it can be lifted to add height. It's extremely easy to maneuver, so that people with wrist problems should be able to use it. I belive it is an excellently priced machine!
Thank you for your review. I just purchased the air steerable and couldn't figure out why there wasn't much suction. Watching your review made me realize it was connected to the floor mode so after I took that out it worked great. We were considering returning it until we figured it out
Its for pet hair / to reduce clogs. its a shorter hose system from the floor to the tank so its easy to unclog the hose. I have huskies and there simply is no other way to avoid hair clogs, you can only make it easier to unclog when it clogs. Having to attach the handheld section of the vacuum is it better trade-off than trying to unclog a 4-foot section of hose, or worse, burning your motor out because such a long hose clogged so often and finally wears out the motor even if you unclog it shortly after you notice it. This way you can use a 10-inch stick or a small peice of a coathanger to unclog the hose. It's a lot less messy of a process. And it doesn't happen as much with a shorter hose like that
I commented on the other video of yours, which was the comparison video between this and a Shark, but I'll tell you what! I just picked this baby up marked down to $48.03 or so at Home Depot and I'm just so happy with this. Like you said in the other video, it legitimately makes a seal on the carpet, you feel it sucking down when you pull back! It cleans very well and I love the filter system. And hey Logan, you're awfully cute! :)
I want to know something. How does this compare to the bissell clean view? I've watched a few of your videos and decided on the bissell but I saw this one and now I'm wondering which is better of the two.
a question on this exact vacuum...the suction seems to be going through the top, a hissing sound through the hole on top of the filter but not from the floor. Have I missed something from the top of the filter?
I wish I had seen this before I bought mine. Thank goodness I can take it back. The attachment hose situation is a deal breaker for me. That has to be the weirdest thing ever.
What a joke! I was happy with the vac for about 6 months (good deep cleaning of my rugs, good for bare floor too), used during these 6 months no more than 10-11 times, and it broke today while I used it: bottom portion with the brush simply separated from the rest of the vac, something broke inside! Looking on the broken area by my mechanical engineering eyes I can say for sure: WEAK DESIGN! The shaft and other parts responsible for holding the bottom and turning it against the top are visually so weak, no wonder they broke, pretty sure will break again after a while after repair, would never bought it if knew about such poor design

Yes, make sure you have the brush rotating while cleaning carpet. LOL
