Looked at this video before buying one second hand and despite the review bought it because of the price. It's the most amazing vacuum I've ever used- the cannister was full of pet hair left in the carpet by the other one(s) I've used. The suction is amazing and it's so easy to use, including emptying and such. I'm guessing this fella isn't doing a lot of actual cleaning and is more about the mechanics because as a person who just wants to get er done and know my carpet is clean I would recommend this vacuum with no reservations.
@@moveablefeasttv that snide comment about me not knowing about "cleaning" wasn't necessary. By all means, if you enjoy the machine and it works for your household, that's fantastic! There are still things I do like about this machine, even if the negatives outweigh them for me. The whole point is to be informative and honest. Something that's a deal breaker for me may not even be a concern for you. Enjoy your vacuum! 😁 If you like it, that's all that matters, you're the one who has it! Lol
Thank you so much for this video! The motor is eek I really have no words on it. I had a Hoover Air Steerable, before I gave it to my sister and my brother in law. It wasn't to bad of a vacuum cleaner, thank you again!
I just received this used (took it off their hands) from a friend who just wanted to get rid of it. I took it apart, cleaned it up, and, so far, it's working like a charm . . . Today. ;0) *** I will report back with updates. Mine is a slightly different model from this one.
Can't believe that the motor already sounds like its bearings are shot. If you, for some reason, decide to keep it, a Shark NV300 series motor will fit just fine, and you'll get basically the same performance while also running cooler and a lot quieter.
I bought one of these for my friend about 3 years ago. Since then, I have had to claim warranty twice. Once for the bracket that holds the handle into the wand, and once because the motor blew. I did have my original receipt and they honored the warranty. Overall, the build quality is not great. Hoover has discontinued this model. Glad they did.
TTI needs to be better about the warranty if your vacuum needs to be either fixed or replaced. I don’t know why the lower hose can’t be removed. I see that TTI is trying to compete with Shark. I’m just glad I didn’t buy this vacuum. I do have this question. I can see this machine doesn’t have a height adjustment setting. Does that mean it’ll burn through the belt a lot faster?
God the motor sounds like sheeeet. And it running very hot is very concerning since that what happened with my shark roadster where it continually overheat so much that it melted and deformed the whole motor compartment area and I feel that this will do the same as my old roadster.
Mine gets hot too...I actually HATE this vacuum. When I clean it, it works great once. Have to THOUROUGHLY clean before every use if I want it to function well.

I agree. And sharks budget models work exceptionally well.
All negative comments you should leave it up to the customers my opinion is have one and dont have any problems
Thank you. Will be watching again as I take apart to clean. 😊
Have you ever cleaned your hose out

Hello I have this vacuum do you know how to clean the bigger longer hose on this machine
@Intellitech Studios i can see these being great for smaller rooms
I love your honest reviews :)
Thank god for this video. the hose system is too confusing
Super helpful! Thank you

No because it has a geared belt with a separate motor

Yeah once I fix up my air cordless and compare the two, they're both going bye-bye

I found this vacuum cleaner for 100 usd, do you think it is a good price for what it offers? Cheers
That's a good price for one of these new
@@IntellitechStudios I still think the nv300 series sharks are better.
Awesome video
How do you raise and lower for a different pile height?
It's automatic. There's no dial on this model
@@IntellitechStudios okay thank you for responding
Is this the hoover that sounded like a fire truck / chainsaw
this is the quietest vacuum that I've owned in my life and at a great price. It's called WindTunnel Air Steerable Upright Vacuum
They don’t appear I’m in the UK so it’s not so often American vacs like bissell featherweights come to the UK
I had to replace my cord because my dog chewed through it. I can't figure out what wire to attach. LOL
