About Sierra and Stephen IRL
Hey friends! I’m Sierra Schultzzie and this is my vlog channel with my husband, Stephen. We started vlogging 5 years ago to document planning our wedding and growing together as a young married couple, and the channel has now really become our passion project. We love creating travel vlogs, disneyland vlogs, showing behind the scenes of creating my fashion and lifestyle videos, and all the little ups and downs of our unfiltered, real life. Ive been a nanny for the little one I am with now since she was 3 months and shes about to be two. Our bond is irreplaceable and being her nanny is such a joy. I know this is a huge piece of mind for her parents and I love being a part of their family!! I hope you have the best experience with yours!
I had a nanny from around 6mo to 5 years old. Though I am a full ass adult now, we are still in contact and visit in-person once a year. That bond matters so much. I am so grateful for the memories and relationship we built. That little girl will remember more than you think, I promise.
My brother is 36 years old and his nanny from when he was a toddler/preschooler (I was older and in school) is still in touch. So sweet
I was a nanny for the same children for four years and absolutely loved it. They are wonderful and they made me feel like part of their family; I went on vacation with them and everything! The kids are in middle school now, so no longer require a nanny, but we still have dinner together every once and a while and I feel very lucky to have has such a wonderful experience.
Grace has a pretty big vocabulary at this age.
It was so cute to hear her say "yes" when you asked her if she wanted the egg for breakfast.
Then when she said "dada" twice.
Feels like time has sped up so much. She can't be this old already.

I always notice how time orientated you are in your vlogs. Your day is so organized, down to the minute! I'm sure it's one of the things that makes you a successful business woman.

Parents never, ever feel ashamed to hire a nanny. It doesn’t mean you are any less of a parent.

I had a nanny from when I was 6 months old to 6 year old. She and her husband were like a third set of grandparents to me and we are still in contact to this day after 12 years. She cared for me as much as my mother and my grandmas also knew and loved her. She was the footprint for the next nannies I had. We had to part ways cause we moved and it was the most heartbreaking thing ever. I’m so glad I grew up with another adult that cared and loved me. She is the highlight of my early childhood years

I really needed this video today! We are going through a similar restructuring of care for my son. I've been in a cycle of feeling guilty when I"m working & not with my son to feeling like my work days are so erratic it's difficult to get into that work groove. It's so nice to hear how you guys solved it & to get that reassurance that it's ok to not want to scale my business back anymore & it's ok to not feel guilty when he's with another caring adult : D Thanks so much for discussing this! I appreciate you talking about nannies. A lot of people judge that but I think it is so healthy. My mom nannied two families for like 15 years (not at the same time) and they became an extended family. Like, my mom wasn't just a nanny but more like an aunt. We went to all the kids bat/bar mitzvahs (3 mitzvahs for 4 kids) even after she had stopped working for them. The parent can live, work, and get some me time which no matter what anyone says is super important. It also helps create jobs that are heavily dominated by women and poc. I think it's great that you are privileged enough to have that option and you're utilizing it. It will make time with Grace even that much more special. Also, I live in Seattle and at peak summer the sun goes down around 10pm. It's pretty cool.
I love watching your vlogs! You seem like such a genuine kind hearted person. I really appreciate all the positive content you put out especially in a world that sometimes focuses too much on the negative. Keep being awesome!

Closet follow up: I would love you to talk about how you decided to deal with clothes that were around the size you are right now but don’t quite fit whether too big or too small. My body changes and fluxates a lot and it seems unrealistic to replace everything anytime that happens. You have been so open about your journey to body neutrality especially during all the changes you have gown through in recent years. TIA!
I’m a private nanny up here in Vancouver BC to a few babies under 2 and I’ve always thought it would be so fun to live in San Diego / Southern California, this here just seals the deal 🥲😂 Lil Grace and her pigtails would be a dream to nanny!

hey fellow bc-er’s!! I’m technically from surrey too but no one knows where that is on a global scale LOL
You know what makes changing in a car more convenient? Magnetic car curtains! I have a 4 piece set made of reflector material like car sun shades so they block 100% of the view. So once I put up all 4 curtains plus my sunshade it feels VERY private in my car. I don't have a rear window cover because my car is a hatchback so the reflection blocks most people from seeing in my car but a good dark car window tint will also help.

Milk doesn't go bad on the exact date that the bottle/carton says. In Norway in front of the date on the milk carton it says "best before, but good after"

Tip for when you have to change in public: being a maxi skirt even if it's not part of your outfit. Put the skirt on over the pants or whatever you're wearing and you can easily switch out the bottoms underneath!!

You NEED to look at the Ruggable x Disney collection! The Rugs are so nice- we got it for our playroom and absolutely love it!!! Get the extra plush mat for underneath because of the baby!
