Hey friends! I’m Sierra Schultzzie and this is my vlog channel with my husband, Stephen. We started vlogging 5 years ago to document planning our wedding and growing together as a young married couple, and the channel has now really become our passion project. Hey sierra, idk if you’ll ever see this but I just gotta say how much of an impact you had on the way I’ve perceived myself growing up and I need to thank you. I started following you when I was around 13 and I’m I’m college now. I found you just at the time when I started being very insecure about my body and how I looked. I was built completely different from all of my friends and I began to think that I needed to change that. Fast forward to now and I’m in a completely different headspace and I honestly attribute that to you. Your positivity and self-love helped me to embrace my curves and to love my body the way it is. I can’t imagine not having your influence when I was at my most vulnerable. I honestly don’t know where my mindset regarding self image would be if I hadn’t discovered your channel but I know it wouldn’t be any near as healthy and positive as it is now. You’ve really impacted my life so much as you were one of the main role models I had growing up. Thank you so so so much; I don’t think I could accurately put into words how much you’ve positively impacted my life but I hope this came close 🤍
Same I grew up with her too originally just wanting to know how to dress my body with her look books but now days I dress how ever I want and I grew up with her and my mindset has grown with hers and I also preach needing to be kind to our bodies to my friends that are struggling.

I like how your Disney outfit includes bike shorts and a fanny pack just showing that we can all grow and expand in our fashion, comfort and life and it is totally okay to decide that you do like something that you previously had decided you didn't.

I love how you are showing Grace all the household items she points at and letting her touch the different textures, and giving her the proper vocabulary- you and Steven are incredible parents! Apparently specialists recommend zero screen time before the age of 3 years old. From what I remember, it hampers brain development and can be detrimental to eyesight too.
think you might be mixing up heavy iPad usage. a little TV watching from far away is not bad at all for little gracie. it is all ok in moderation, its a big plus that sierra is watching with her as well, that's important.
Congrats on getting better! If you guys have any time while in Anaheim, there is a TikTok famous cafe very close to Disneyland that is worth checking out. It’s called Requim Cafe and it’s sci-fi/fantasy themed with a cool cherry blossom tree at the center of the cafe. Grace would love all the textures there
Hi Sierra! Love the garden update, I’m so excited for you! Zucchini/squash plants get reeeeeally big, so make sure to thin out some leaves once they start flowering to create airflow and prevent fruit rot. Especially important since yours are planted so close together. Usually I plant 2 zucchini and 2 squash plants each season, and we (family of 2) get WAY more fruit than we know what to do with! There is only so much zucchini bread one can bake. Haha. Have fun, looking forward to keeping up with the progress!
I make zucchini burgers from them. You can freeze them. This way you can keep them for months 💕
The routine disruption depression/mania is an extremely common bipolar thing. It sucks not to be able to got do something fun late at night because I know it will mess me up for a week.
This got me so hype! My hubby and I taking our 8 and 5 year old daughters to Disneyland next week for their first time! I haven’t been to Disneyland in 16 years! I’m 30 now and am a full on Disney adult and can’t wait to experience this with my little family 🥰
Hi Sierra!! I just got back from Disneyland with my two kids under two and I highly recommend you baby wear at Disneyland with Grace. I’m sure Grace will nap in the stroller but my seven month old greatly preferred napping on me or her dad just because it’s kind of overwhelming and loud and you know we are their safe space so I would deeply recommend baby wearing also it’s very clutch because on a lot of rides they let you keep your baby on you so that way like you feel really secure on the rides with them and if you have a baby carrier that can also forward face then Grace can look out but no matter what even if you don’t use it it’s worth it to throw it in the bottom of the stroller and have it when you want it!
I don’t think it matters if Grace won’t remember the Disney trip in the future. She will experience the magic of the moment now.
Sierra, thank you for sharing about your favorite Disney shirt. Yesterday was the first time I actually bought clothes for my new +35lbs body. It’s been about 5 months of wearing leggings and sweatpants/anything I have that does still fit me. Yesterday I bought a pair of size 10 jeans and they fit like a glove. I realized how freeing it is to dress my body in clothes that fit no matter what size they are and that I deserve to feel comfortable and confident no matter what. You made me feel so much less alone by sharing this moment. Thank you ❤️
I’ve taken my two children (ages 4 and 3) to Disneyland multiple times. Big Disney adult here. Even have my own podcast about the movies. But the parks are one of my happy places and I used to work at WDW.
They may not remember the trips. But we have documented it and their eyes and excitement are the best. I’ve taken a 4 month old and I’ve taken a 4 year old. Each stage is different but very exciting and magical.
my daughter was 14 months the first time we went to Dosney World. the memories of her reacting to everything are so precious to me! Just like you said, they may not remember, but we do and that's all that matters! Disneyland is such a big part of your family history,, it's so sweet to be able to take your girl there and show her where your story began!! I know Gracie is going to just love her first of many trips to Disneyland!!!
sometimes I guestion what I´m doing on this channel as a 19 year old student who is nowhere near having children but Sierra´s whole energy just makes me smile and I´m so excited to see grace grow in this warm en loving family 🥰

Raspberries, blackberries, and blueberries are incredibly easy to grow. They’re super low maintenance and when they come back they usually come back bigger, both the plant itself and the fruit harvest!
My parents took me to Disney World when I was 2. I don't actually remember anything from that day. But I do remember my mom pulling out the photo albums every few years and showing us the pictures. And telling me that the cute yellow sundress with Donald Duck on it was made by her, and I chose the fabric because Donald Duck was my favorite. And telling me I told her Donald Duck was my favorite because his name was Donald, like my favorite grandpa. 🥲

Hello Sierra! I have been watching your videos since pre-pandemic. You and I were the same size then, and now, we are the same size after. I know it might sound strange, but looking at you living your life to the fullest despite the weight has been one of my biggest motivator to love myself. When you bought your favorite shirt in a size up my heart exploded because I struggle with my favorite items not fitting anymore. Anyway, I’m thankful for you, you make me feel like I’m not alone. To anyone planning a photoshoot with a little one :) I'm a photographer and babies are actually great at photoshoots. You have to avoid flash and consider softer lighting of course, but as long as you take their needs into consideration, they are actually great! I did a shoot with two around babies (I think around 6 month and the other a bit older), and we spent prob 3 hours and they did great! We even managed to pose them in different ways without much fussing :) so just take your time, read your babies signals and adjust accordingly and everything will be fine:)

Thank you for being so open and honest about mental health! It made me feel way less alone to know that I’m not the only one who really struggles when my routine is disrupted. Especially when it’s due to sickness, it’s just so hard to pull myself out of the depression and get back to “normal”. I find a lot of comfort in knowing it’s not just me, but here’s to hoping we can manage it better in the future!

I know exactly how you feel in regards to feeling guilty about having to postpone the photo shoot due to sickness. For months my husband and I with all our friends have planned this weekend away with tonnes of activities, then three days before we were due to go I got covid, so we had to postpone (the weekend away was to celebrate mine and my husbands birthday otherwise we would have just bowed out). We still haven't found a date that works for everyone and it sucks because we were all looking forward to it and I'm the reason it had to be postponed. Technically I know it's not my fault, but it still feels like it.

We took our daughter to Disneyland at least 3 times before she turned 2. We had so much fun and loved it. We haven’t been back since November 2018 but we show her all the pictures and she keeps asking when she can go back.

I’m so excited for you and Grace’s first Disney trip! To each their own … but I 100% agree with you, I’ve been taking my kids to Disney since they were in my belly. Those memories are irreplaceable. Anyhow I’m glad you are feeling better hope you guys have fun!!
Also like, she’s not going to remember it, but she will still enjoy it! All the love, and hugs and cuddles she won’t remember either, but she enjoys! Waiting until she will remember seems more to gain parent points from your kid than smth done for their own good
I just went to Disneyland with my family which includes my nephew (3) and nieces (2 and 8 months). Everyone told us how the kids wouldn't remember so not worth going. I couldn't agree less. It was amazing watching the magic through their eyes and having them see the characters they love so much. My nephew loves Spider-Man and was so happy and excited when we got to meet Spider-Man at California Adventure.

You should definitely look into a wagon we have the jeep one and it’s so worth it and so convenient!!! I think it wood fit into your lifestyle and it can grow with your family! It’s soooo worth it look into it!

I was in Disneyland for spring break last month with my family which consisted of four kids thirteen, nine, six, and four years old. I just watched your Instagram stories about helpful suggestions and I wish I would have done the ribbon around the stroller tip. It was so great being the one to experience all of the kids for the first time going and the last time I was there was December of 2008. A month before my thirteen year old sister was born and she's been so sad that she hadn't had the opportunity to go. So for her to go this year was a great surprise.
My husband & I took our 3 kids. They all handled it completely different. One was 7 years, one was 4 years, & one was 4 months old. The baby handled it awful, he was completely over stimulated & out of his comfort zone being out around tons of people an entire day. Every kid is so different so it's smart to not have your mind set that you will be for sure going that 2nd day.
Glad you're able to hang out with your family again! My mom recently got COVID and I haven't seen her in a couple weeks now (I usually visit my parents for Saturday lunch)

Your jungle cruise t-shirt could be your back up shirt in case of epic baby mess. Also, totally agreed that it’s worth it to take Grace to Disney. I just took my 5 month old on an overnight trip, and we had the best time. Just a new environment is good for her to experience, and it was fun for me!

For shoes/footwear for Grace, I would seriously have a look at Attipas. They are like shoes and socks in one, can go in the washer and are particularly great at the park as the design means you don't get shoes full of bark :)
I have a freshly picked diaper bag backpack and love it. I loved their moccasins too. I was supposed to go to Disneyland in 2020 but covid cancelled it and I was so sad I didn’t get to use all of the Disney stuff I bought for it (I’m in IN so haven’t been able to make it there yet).

Its a good idea to start getting her use to having shoes on her feet. Many toddlers don't like the feel of shoes when they start walking, so getting her use to shoes now is a good idea....and toddler shoes are too cute
Are you bringing a baby carrier? Even when my kids were around Graces age it was SOOO helpful in those long lines!

I always thought it was stupid when people say your kids too young to remember anyways. Babies still have emotions and experience joy, and sharing that with them I believe stays with them even if they dont remember the actual experience.
IMO they are too young to really remember or enjoy it fully, but that doesn't mean it's not worth it. It's more for the parents and there's nothing wrong with that. Parents should enjoy their time with their children, and have fun experiencing the things they love together. The memories may not last for grace but they will last a lifetime for Sierra and Steven.
