Finally someone showing the adjuster sleeve 👍🏼. So I’m in the process for my 2006 and all the directions I see and in all my parts it doesn’t indicate washers on the drag link or the chromoly tie rod. 🤷🏼♂️ My tie rod nuts are flared though. Maybe a newer design or something.
Not any videos on this one thanks good call on the anti-seize. How’s it driving ? Just so u know thuren calls for (0) toe in or as close as possible not factory spec u can do it yourself with a couple levels clamped on your wheels and mesure front and Behind wheels.
This is why I started doing videos. A lot of the product I was looking at, there was little information on other than manufactures. There was no change in how it drives
Offroad guy, any chance you could do a video of the steering linkage working while you drive, turning from lock out to lock out and possibly a bump or two. I'm currently debating on whether to purchase this set up or not. I have a 3rd gen that has the 2009 upgrade but im in need of a rebuild. There seems to be whats called flop in this senergy design. It's not supposed to effect the driving experience at all according to cjcoffrad tech I spoke to, but there is some up and down movement probably in the drag link. would love to see it in action to see whats really going on. Still happy with this purchase?
I only got 27k out of my ends. Drag link knocking like crazy. Any opinions? I have new track bar, ball joints, axle shaft universals, hubs, steering stabilizer, steering shaft.
i love my 2011 3500 drw but the axles are garbage. imo. i’ve spent more time replacing parts then driving. pinion seals tie rods. bearings ball joints. it’s just to light of a diff for the weight of the big ol 6.7.
Yea agree, for the most part love the truck but I have spent some money fixing what dodge cheaped out on. I have not had the problems it sounds like you have. I did replace stuff before it became a problem like the free wheel kit so the unitized hub spindle assembly did not randomly fail. Did have to replace the Ujoints in the axle shafts I did this steering kit because of the lift not because of it worn out or anything. I did replace the ball joints because of a lot of movement. Other wise I have not had any other problems with the axles.
Offroad guy i forgot to mention carrier bearing out now. she’s parked for winter and rebuild again. love the channel. and i’d rather fix our trucks then have anything else on the market. guess i just needed to complain haha.

Was mine supposed to come with 2 adjusting bolts there only one on the right side
Their are two adjustments one on the drivers side the adjusting sleave and the tie rod end on the passager side.

Did you get the upgraded "gated or single plane" tie rods?

I am not sure what you are getting at
