I just learned more in 5 minutes than in the hours I spent with the manuals. What a useful contribution to the restoration community this will be for years to come. Thankyou for putting in the hours it must have taken.
Wow, I got a little teary sorry, my B25b is sitting in the garage unloved, needs a complete rebuild but it was my first motorcycle. Such an Iconic engine, 10:1 compression ration too so she got along.
I have been doing a rebuild on my '69 Triumph TR25W and have watched this video probably 100 times. This and your other videos have been an invaluable aid to my project. Thank you for doing this. I don't work with Inventor directly, but I work with guys who do, so I can highly appreciate amount of work and time that goes into something like this.
Any chance you could do this with a 1960 BSA C15 engine? I have a colleague who I’m helping with his rebuild and another one of these would be invaluable.
Absolutely fantastic! Congratulations on a great piece of work. Could someone actually rebuild an engine using this as their only guide? It looks to me as though they could.
Fascinating Captain... It seems as if it is assembling itself of it's own accord & I cannot find the words to express another 5th, it! Wait,Wait, It's amazing. -Spock 5417
Not in the four-bolt clutch. In the four-bolt clutch, a plain plate goes in first. It rests against a lip on the back edge of the clutch center, and does not rest against the back face of the chainwheel, as in the three-bolt clutch.
Dear Crankbuster, As an Inventor user I am in ore of the amount of work you must have put into the B25 model. How did you measure/model the shape of the cases? Did you scan them? I would love to ask more questions about this.
@@crankbuster My twin sons are rebuilding a '69 Triumph TR25 which has an almost identical engine as part of a high school engineering project. How can I contact you to get a copy of these CAD files? They are so much better than any other reference sources we've been able to find!

J'ai réussi à reconstruire ma triumph Blazer grâce à ce montage vidéo hallucinant. un grand Bravo pour ce travail!!!
Merci beaucoup, profitez-en!

The hours you must have put into this.. impressive..! Brought back not so fond memories of rebuilding my A65 ;)
Absolutely fantastic! Congratulations on a great piece of work.

Virtually identical to my much older Tiger Cub. Loved it.
Thanks! I have a 441 which is almost the same. This looked like SolidWorks that I use, Great Job.
Thanks that is the best video I have ever seen

Lots of common aspects with my 441. Learned something already. Will be back.
Absolutely brilliant. I now have an understanding of how it all works. Thank you.
InstaBlaster.
Great job sir. I love to watch this
Bravo for the illustrated inclusion.Everyone else should take the hint.
Yes, it looks like it, but the gearbox is built onto the inner timing cover, see my other gearbox video.
It is there, just hiding from view!
Crank buster
Thanks for the correction. I guess that I'm too used to the A65.
Awesome video, but I believe that first clutch plate installed should have been a friction plate. Thank you.
Thanks, 1967-70 4 plate clutch, plain plate first. 1971 five plate clutch, friction plate first. Hope this helps.

Amazing work Well done. But you forgot the gearbox.
Rickard
Love this video. How can i contact you about doing one?
Good Job.....
Thanks, enjoy!
Don't forget the shim on the crankshaft to take up free play
If you want to shim the crank for end float, put the shims under the roller bearing

Great!great!great! Do you have access to a triumph video similar to this?
Triumph TR25, only difference is the primary drive and pushrod access covers.

Pete,
Thanks for your comment, no I didn't scan the cases, just modelled them with extrusions etc from 2D drawings and measurements.
could you also share bsa b12 details :)
Is this available as a cad file?
Yes, the 3D model can be purchased. Let me know what format you would be interested in. STEP is usually preferred.
