In many respects, this was one of the best Aygo reviews I've seen: it was natural (especially the interaction between the presenters), humorous, informative and considered real world tests. The sound level was perfect. I would say the only improvement would be some of the moving camera shots could be steadier (consider a gimbal?). Personally, I took the 'turbo' comment to be meant as a joke as you were waiting for the car to speed up.
Thank you very much Lewis! Really appreciate you watching commenting and giving us some feedback, it’s how we all improve! I’m glad you took the turbo comment as a joke, when driving the car I noticed the pedal had one of those ‘clicks’ at the end which is common for a cars with turbos and when pressing it there was a slight boost in power (very minuscule) but turns out there isn’t which was our mistake!
Correction, it does have apple carplay and Android carplay but its not a turbocharged engine, it's a naturally aspirated 1Litre 72 BHP on 2018 and above. Also it's not just necessarily a first car it's also for people who want to save money on fuel and cheap insurance and tax, male or female. It's got nothing to do with a first car for juvenils period. People in all decades and age groups are driving these city cars who don't want overly complicated motoring.
This was a very enjoyable review. It was very funny and very intuitive, but I have only one concern about it. The Toyota Aygo doesn't have any variant with a turbocharger, well except for the crazy variant, which is far from that one. Everything I have heard or seen in this video was correct and very interesting but the turbocharger info was very misleading for some time
Thanks for the review. I live in Glasgow city centre and I have a son. That’s why this is a perfect car considering my situation. I also do not understand the people moaning about power. I wonder how fast they drive in the city centre. I think it is not ok to have super fast cars to drive in the city centre from my point of view. I’m not judging, just an opinion:)
My pleasure! Thanks for the comment. I would definitely agree that in your situation the car shines, I drove it in London for work a number of times and it was great. It’s small enough to not worry about hitting anything and you get a pretty good MPG. I also think that it was fast enough for the city, however driving it around faster roads, I think it lacks some power to really make it enjoyable.
I've actually been eyeing this for my first car, won't burn my wallet which is good, looks pretty sleek, and don't mind torturing my mates by having them sit in the back :)
Ahah I would agree it’s definitely a good option! Like all the things you said it’s not too pricy, it looks pretty good and it’s got everything you need in the interior
We noticed that to, not to sure why the fan was so loud on such a small engine. Might’ve been a problem with the car in some way because it wouldn’t have got that hot during the autumn
@@CarCultureClub I don’t actually think it’s a problem, my mate had this car and it always used to do it we used to call it henry the Hoover because it was so loud, but nothing was wrong with it, I think it’s just how the fans on these cars are
Answer to your question about the fan, it is an automatic fan. It turn itself on and off when needed, it does that every time when it become stationery, after a trip.
@@user-fo6mo8ch9v they cool them self off after a trip, and every-time when they become stationery. My one is doing the same thing, very loud spitting hot air!!!!
I've seen a Dutch guy with a 2007 Peugeot 107 and it had over 250,000 miles! Original engine and gearbox. I'm seriously thinking about getting rid of my 2016 Skoda Fabia and buying a 2005-2008 Aygo/C1/107 instead. It will be my 5th car. I'm 38 and don't care about status anymore, I care about reliability and my bank account 😂
On my new Toyota Aygo I hear a hum coming from the infotainment system when there is no sound in playback, such as on the clock screen ... is this normal?
Lots of references to the turbo… shame it doesn’t have one, the T in VVTi is for Timing Maybe a bit more research on the cars your reviewing and less attempts at comedy

did it grow a turbo? I think not
doesn't need one
i have this exact car as my first car just an automatic gear box, cost me a bit more but such a fun car . 100% recommend it
I'm buying one this week
That was really well made! Good camera angles and interesting use of cinematography. Great work!
Thanks very much! Glad you enjoyed!

Agreed, I’m 70 and considering buying one as I just want simple, economic motoring. 🎶

Its not a turbo were did you get that from
Total fail when you can’t even get the correct info.

lol, you want your mates at the back!!!!
I really want one, but Toyota doesn't sell small cars like this in North America anymore
They do. There’s new updated Aygo available last year and also a new Aygo X super mini coming out this year
@@CarCultureClub Sorry, meant for North America
@@hentisenti ahh then that would explain it! Yeah I believe the Aygo is mostly European market
Why does it make that noise when you park up ? It almost sounds like it’s over heating, I’ve noticed it with these aygos the fan is really loud

Looking for my first car would u say getting a 2015 aygo or a 2015 fiesta 1.25 zetec, I just want something reliable to get me from A-B
If you've not already bought it the fiesta
Please review the variant
"Spungy suspension" "Turbo"???
I don't think we've driven the same car 😂
i bought a second hand 2007 C1 ..and it was my 5th car 🙂

No turbo in there matey , get your facts right
Yeah, maybe you should concentrate on getting the info correct instead of trying to be a comedian.
Most of the information was correct, what’s your point?
@@CarCultureClub The fact that it doesn't have a turbo m8?
@@CarCultureClub never mind them. You did a great presentation!!!!
You called it an AYGO😅
It is pronounced “i-go”

Lovely presentation, I would call it a budget first time car, you want to save your money? yes.....then stop complaining....lol
It's a great looking car, it's good inside it, but it's just too slow. It's pronounced i-go btw
Agreed! And yes I pronounce it both ways a lot of the time
Seriously Mate, pronounce it "EYE GO" as in " I go", but then I'm just a dumb Yank.
