  • From Yellowstone the next rendezvous point was Ennis. For me it was a few days to explore and get some work done so off I went down unknown roads to unknown destinations.
In this video I discuss the growing conflict over dispersed camp sites between locals and nomads. It may become a bigger problem over the years as more people become aware of public lands.

I actually stayed at Tom Miner campground for one night in late August of 2021 , all I saw was a deer. That night there was a really bad thunderstorm so I think it kept all the animals away. I absolutely love this campground and honestly don’t want any tourists finding out about it😂

I have loved watching your adventures on the support team for Tina. I love all your information. Elk babies are called calves and yes they have spots like deer fawns.

We do dispersed (occasionally paid) camping and we set up camp (gear) then go for a drive to re-supply, sightsee, hike, or whatever recreation not in the area, then return to camp site for the night. It's hard to find a camp spot and set-up at night.

Jay do you air Down your tires? Gotta hate when they Don't post signs of road closures at beginning of road or at least do detour signs for road closures.
Yeah I'd pick the free or $12 sites

Prong Horn just look so uncommon to me for North America. They look pretty, well evolved, kind of like they belong on the planes of Africa. I looked it up and they can run as fast as 50mph, the fastest for N.A. . The closest living relative on the evolutionary branches is the Camel. At 13,000 years ago there were 11 different relative species of the Prong Horn living in N.A. . My guess is they all were great eating and made good jerky. yeah, 4 days abuse use of camp site is a bit over self serving. The consciousness of America more and more it seems. I thought your wheel was going to rattle off on that first wheel road shot.

We hear javelinas are not good at all so nobody hunts them. It's like an evolutionary trait to not be tasty.

Good music. What’s the reason for an employee not putting up a sign to tell you the bridges were out Enjoy your travels because I am through you

Seems a bit wrong to complain about people taking up sites…..can’t blame them if they are locals and do it to keep out freebie people doing dispersed camping who don’t want to pay but want all the benefits of spacious sites, pit toilets etc. By the way, you really spent a lot of time complaining about site hogging….it got real old.
