    Testing the Shakespeare Micro Series spinning rod and reel combo.
    Actually taking it out fishing and seeing what it can do.
    Is it good enough to pass my test?

    Oh man, at the beginning I thought we were gonna have to rename you "Snag-Nasty." lol. Great video. Love the ending with the sound effect.

    That was an action packed entertaining fishing excursion video. Great editing too with all those catches. I thought I was the only one to lose jigs and get snags. Great outing Stacee!💥🏆🪝

      I was wanting to get on a bigger fish to test the rod and reel out. I just happen to hook into a rambunctious smallie. They fight like crazy in that current.

    I have 3 of those exact same combos. Absolutely love them. I keep a 4’6 one in my truck just in case I need to pull off and make a cast😂 Spool it up with some 2lb Berkley vanish and it will cast a mile. Dick’s Sports has the line for about $8. Great test video. They make that same rod in a 7ft at Walmart. Can’t beat it for ultralight fishing. At least…. Unless you break it in hall like that😂😂😂😂

    Man that’s a bummer I love that little rod I’ve had mine a couple years now and caught everything from creek chubs and shiners to a 4 pound channel cat but I do only use 2 pound line still it shouldn’t snap from just fighting a fish.
    Maybe try the warranty?

    • @BankFishingAdventures
      @BankFishingAdventures  Рік тому +1

      I was wondering if I just got a bad one.
      The line was way to strong for that rod.
      That smallie started peeling drag and it was over. I'm going to try an Ozark Trail rod with that reel next.
      I thought you had that rod Dannie.
      I do like the sensitivity on it for sure.

      @@BankFishingAdventures It’s probably the most sensitive ultralight rod under $80 on the market. Great little rod, and well made. Just gotta fish it like an ultralight. I’ve landed 3 pound bass with it. I don’t have the reel. Bought the rod and put a Pflueger President 2000 on it with 6 pound J-Braid.
