    ================================================
    Brown Sugar Bourbon Glaze
    - 1/2 cup orange juice (no sugar added)
    - 1/2 cup honey
    - 1 cup packed light brown sugar
    - 1/2 - 1tsp ground cinamon
    - 1 Tbsp dijon mustard
    - 2oz of your favorite bourbon (optional)
    - 2-3 smashed garlic cloves (optional) - I was all out and did not include these in the video but they give the glaze a nice touch!
    Combine all ingredients in a sauce pan over medium heat and bring to a boil while whisking often. Reduce heat to simmer and let simmer for 2-4 minutes until glaze starts to thicken. Careful to not boil for too long or it will harden quite a bit once it cools and make it tough to use as a glaze without having to reheat it.
    If using garlic, remove the skin and smash with the side of your knife blade. You just want to break it so that it releases its flavour into the glaze.

    What is the additional smoking device you have in with the ham?

      It’s a smoke tube. I use them on most of my cooks to add a bit more flavour on a pellet grill. They’re great, especially when cooking at higher temperatures.

    Your video says a half cup brown sugar but the written recipe calls for a cup full, which is it? Also trying to figure cook time, how big was your ham?

      It should be 1 cup of brown sugar, I likely misspoke in the video. You can use less though if you don’t want it as sweet. It’s been a while since this video but I believe my ham was about 6-8lbs. The average cook time per pound at 300° is ~20min. You’ll want to adjust that time to maybe 30 if you’re cooking at a lower temp. Or if you have a smoke tube, light that up and cook at 300, you’ll get some great results there too! Good luck!
