Great haul man..I was really on fence about ordering the final crisis omnibus as I ve heard that the tie in issues are only vaguely connected with the main event..I wanted to get my hands on the absolute but it's OOP now so I guess I the omnibus will have to do. Would have been great if they would have included seven soldiers of victory miniseries by Morrison which is a recommended reading for FC.
Haha I’m hoping that with 1500+ pages, the omnibus will contain enough material to understand the story. If not, there’s no hope for any of us 😄 Thanks so much for watching!
I'm in shock.......firstly, how on EARTH did you find most of those Hickman X-Men HCs anywhere?! Looking for House/Powers and X of Swords HCs myself and they are impossible to find......especially as HCs. Also did you find that variant cover of the Hickman X-Men Omni somewhwere easily? Now I kinda want the rest of those books too lol. Also you must have gotten VERY lucky with that Deadpool and Cable omni...how much did that set you back? lol
Hey there, welcome to the channel! So the X-Men omni, Hellfire Gala, and Inferno I all got from InStockTrades, and they should still be available there. HoX/PoX and X of Swords, yeah I totally got lucky on eBay and found them both for cover price. Similar story with Deadpool & Cable, I won that on eBay for only $105 USD (~$130 CAD).
It’s all about patience, willpower and a decent amount of luck, eventually something will pop up for a good price. Best of luck to you on your hunt! 🙂
Nice haul! I’m also not a huge Thor fan, but I really enjoyed Aaron’s run. You gonna digest that sucker before seeing the movie? Also, how did you land it for $70?? (Inquiring like-minded Canadians want to know 😊)
Can’t decide whether I should read the book or see the movie first haha.
And well, I suppose what I said was a little misleading. Final Crisis and Thor were pretty heavily discounted on Amazon at one point, and after redeeming a bunch of rewards points on top of that, I only had to pay $140 total for both, or $70 each, so that’s what I meant 🙂
